Default Bosh: Interested in New Jersey?

http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/knick...#ixzz0r9hrQcTA

Near the bottom Bosh states:

"I think each team has its own advantages over the other," he said. "(New) jersey has a young core, so does new York, the coaching styles are a bit different, a lot of people are excited about the (Nets) new owner and everything.

Now any S&T with the Nets would have to send back the #3 pick.
The questions is, how good can Derrick Favors become?

I would be happy acquiring two studs in Courtney Lee and Terrence Williams. Obviously they would have to send back a lot of fillers in order to make the salaries match. Although it might be stupid sending Bosh to a division rival, we would be taking back some very promising young players.

We could then pull the trigger on the Calderon for the #10 pick deal.
Mabye then trade down to get Ebanks and use 13 on Alrich
Then, if we could send a package of Hedo/Expirings to NOH for Collison/Posey we would be looking at something like this.

Collison/Williams
Lee/Weems/Williams
Derozan/Posey/Ebanks
Favors/Amir
Bargnani/Aldrich/Dorsey

I think given a couple of years, this would be a very dangerous team. Very good defensive, and a lot of potential offensively. For now keep Favors at the 4, but as he gains strength slide him over to the 5.

This really hinges on how good Favors turns out, as well as whether or not Collison can really create for his teammates, as opposed to just execute an offense.

Im not feeling Bargnani at the 5, move him back to his Original posistion which is PF, But a good idea none the less, Good post

Yea I just kept Bargs at the 5 because I am not sure if favors can physically handle nba centres at this point.

so you would trust an 18 year old 6'10 PF to guard centers like howard rather than bargnani, the dude is like 230 pounds

I wouldn't take Favors, Id take Cousins + im sure Andrea would play better if he was at the 4, not having to guard bigs like Howard + Bynum who have more Strength + Power than he does

I think we'll see some radical changes in terms of getting rid of a few players that have been in the league for a little while, like Calderon and Hedo (not that anyone else is REALLY unavailable).. I think this is why we got that ex-coach of Oklahoma, he did a great job with the youth in Oklahoma. Question is, why did they can him?

I'm leaning on still playing AB at center because I can only really name like 5-6 centers who are better than AB...

Bynum
Howard
Yao
Perkins
Lopez
O'neal kind of

I know there are better rebounding C's on other teams but better on offense they are not & Amare doesn't count.

There are too many PF that would rip AB one on one good defense apart! & I also think that the 6'8" to 6'10" PFs in this league are a little to quick for AB

Either way, Bargs sucks as a Center. Too inconsistent, too laid back, not aggressive enough, can't rebound.

How does NY have a young core... the only players they have under contract for next year are Curry, Gallinari, Wilson Chandler, and Tony Douglas. Ok fine, three of those guys are young but that's hardly a core. Only one of those guys is starter material. If the term is used that loosely then every team in the NBA has a young core.
