RealGM: Basketball Wiretap Archives: Bosh Received Twice As Many All-Star Votes With Toronto

I mean, I can't say I'm surprised, but this does give some credibility to the argument that when u play in Canada the whole country is behind you.

No surprise here. He isn't playing at an allstar level and he's in Wade/James' shadow.

Less is more. More or less. But mostly less. Or should that be more?

He's easily playing at an all-star level. Particularly over the last 5 weeks. But there are some big names that moved East in Amare and Boozer, and Bosh probably did get a good number from across Canada before. He's still quite likely to get selected by the coaches.

Who cares, who would want to stay/come here when you can't even get NBA League Pass in Canada? Oh wait..

2 simple reasons

1) he's on the heat which a lot of the nba fans hate now, so not only has he lost the TO votes but he's lost a lot of general fan votes and he's not actually good enough or popular enough to maintain that fan base, factoring in his numbers and play aren't very spectacular this year

2) Amare has moved to the East - 2 fowards to be voted for, 1 spot is a lock for lebron, that leaves only 1 more forward spot, amare it is! no room for you bosh!

1 more thing, why is this in the Raptors forum, should be in the general nba forum, i think we owe it to ourselves to make the Raptors section a bosh-free zone, at least when it has no direct connection to the raptors

Bosh is just as good as Amare, Boozer or any other PF in the east (or the league) right now. Don't believe the hype.

He proved it when he played against N.Y.

He proved it when he played against the Lakers.

He doesn't get the same number of opportunities in MIA that he did when he was in TOR... so yes, his numbers are going to be down... but he's still an all-star calibre player without question.
