Bosh Getting Praise, D12 In Coach K's Dog House

(So keep an eye out for Bosh's possibly supplanting Dwight Howard as the primary big man, perhaps when the Americans face Spain in the fourth game of the preliminary round of the Olympics. Bosh might be a more effective post defender against Pau Gasol, and he's certainly more mobile -- and a better free-throw shooter -- than Howard.)

Chris Sheridan: coach K singled him out for praise in the post-ga,me yesterday even though he had a blah stat line, but there was some jawing going on between Coach K and Dwight Howard that might have fueled Coach K's praise of Dwight's backup. It's certainly a subplot that I'll be watching closely from here on out.

Chris Sheridan: And another thing, Bosh is actually a better defender against opposing bigs in some instances than Dwight. Remember, a lot of the international bigs will go outside and shoot the 3 if unchallenged. Australia has a bunch of them, so look for that tomorrow, and watch to see if Dwight runs out at them on the perimeter or stays inside.

David, STL: Any idea why Howard and Coach K were going at it?

Chris Sheridan: Something to do with Dwight taking somewhat of a cheap shot at one of the Russians, Coach K getting on him about it, and Dwight talking back. There's a maturity issue with Dwight, and Coach K needs him to be play smart, play well and grow up quick. With only three bigs. the Americans can't afford any issues at that position.

Why is Boozer on the team?
Let me re-phrase that.
Why isn't Amare/Chandler on this team before Boozer?

Does that mean you agree with me? :D

I beleive that Amare did not want to play this summer, he had family issues to deal with so he told Colangelo that he won't be able to make it. As for Chandler I'm not quite sure.

Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett. It doesn't jive with their going small and run it and gun it, and their youth movement, but there's two veteran bigs that I think would give this team the kind of paint presence, poise, and intensity that's been lacking thus far.

Im not worried about Dwight, he tends to let his mind wander at times, but remember when Stan called him out last regular season? Yep, 20/20s and double doubles everywhere suddenly, im pretty sure he will take this message and get his ass into gear, Coach K wants a classy group that plays and acts classy, i like him letting Dwight know.

Also, i see little press about it, is it just me? Or is Dwade back?? Suddenly i dont think Miami is a pushover again. Seems most of the basketball world has forgotten how good he was when the Heat won.... funny thing is, he looks bigger, faster, stronger now then back then, just needs his rhythm back, he is definately gonna be a huge factor.

I thought he was looking bigger. I didn't know if it was just me though.

He already went to the rack better than anyone in the league. If he's added strength without losing quickness...look out.
