Default Bosh Comments on Jalen Rose's Comments

Quote:
CB says Jalen has bold opinions, but who knows how he's going to feel tomorrow or two years from now. Says he needs to be happy and everyone else needs to be happy. Says he has lots of time as a left as a Raptor.

I'd argue that he's unappreciated by a small segment of fans. For the most part he get showered with adoration. I'd say its a 70/30 split on the whole.

I don't know Claud. Bargs gets alot of applause for things that Bosh doesn't.

Saying a few words to Garcia (after Joey gets in the way of course).
"throwing" vince to the ground.

Getting a rebound...

The small subtle undertones I take away from the crowd is that they want Bargs to be the hero, not Bosh, despite Bosh being the more complete player.

Plus, after this summer the Raptors will have their 3rd coach in 8 months after Triano is axed. Not exactly stable.

So basically the whole world needs to kiss his ass to stay?? God what more do this guys need. Wins millions, he is the "franchise" guys, most fans love him, but he will leave because some fans dont love him enough?

If he leaves for that reason I would lose all the respect for him.

I think for the most part that's due to the expecations of being a number 1 pick (i.e Bargs) and we've never really seen that side of him.

I think those fans have seen what they'll always get from Bosh which is 24 and 9. He's done it for a few seasons and it's in a way expected. The Bargnani stuff is new and really unexpected.

But the popularity of Bosh is there but it's become complacent for lack of a better term.

The one negative thing I will say about him though is the way he interacts with fans borders on an asshole level. This could simply be the times I've seen him but when at the games he really only acknowledges maybe 2-4 fans and then is off. I compare him to Jose where, he takes pictures with fans, signs anything and really goes out of his way.

But on the whole, I see Chris getting alot of love with a small, but vocal minority absolutely despising him. It's similar in all markets as I'm sure there are people who hate Dirk, Kobe, Nash, Amare, Dwight, KD etc.

And if he thinks fans here are tough, NYC is even worst when the expectations are there.

If Bosh disappeared for games on end, or hell a whole year, he would be crucified. When AB does it, he is a project lol, is both really that much older?

Most fans gets for granted what CB4 does. Bargs, on the other hand, looked like a lost cause last year, so fans seeing him doing things like rebounding is quite refreshing since he didn't had too many last year.

Again, that's just based on expectations of our fanbase which shows a lot of maturity compared to the same fan base in 1996 which booed Damon Stoudamire I believe b/c they didn't know who he was.

COmeon, really, beginning of the season how many people actually said we need to hang on to Bargs and how many wanted him traded for anything at all.

Bosh gets critiqued more than anyone else on the team because he is supposed to be the star of the team. If he is labelled as the franchise guy then why should we as fans be happy with the same old 24 and 9 he has put up the last 2 years and a continued aptitude for choking in late game situations?

I know, because so many others are putting up more then 24 and 9, i mean, we need at least 34/14, who does that again?? Sign him up!!!

Besides Dirk, who is this clutch PF we are getting?? Sign him up!!

Stop having unrealistic expectations of him, and you will stop being disappointed.

It's simply not on his shoulders, it's on BC's. And if nothing else, Colangelo is good at showing the strengths of this franchise going forward, and doing enough to keep people from playing the field. I would guess that if BC does his job between now and the start of next season, that Bosh will sign up for another term. He is smart enough to know that winning will bring the fans around big time, douchebags or not.
