Has he ever started a season in the last 6 or 7 years strong?

And what was that about making Bosh and Bargnani quit the next time he saw them? The Big Lardass was lumbering all night long. His D was non-existent. He wasn't running. He's useless. He's the reason why the Cavs won't make the ECF this year.

The Derozan block was pretty sweet.

Shaq is defnately not the same guy as he was before, but he'll be decent this year. It'll be up to Brown to use him properly and come up with a bigman rotation that works. I don't know how effective he was against Boston, but he's still good at stealing other people's idea for TV shows.

He didn't look good against Boston either. I said to a friend last night that Shaq would be to the Cavs that JO was to us last season. They might pop up with a good game once every so often, but they won't be a factor.

Good point Hoops...

I've been a doubter of the Shaq pickup since day one. Along with Varejao, I won't even get started about that signing, the Cavs have two guys that clog the paint and make it harder for Bron to get in and do his thing. It's not even like Shaq is clogging the paint and being the Shaq of old, dude's a run of the mill big man now.

I can't disagree. I think Danny Ferry listens to Lebron too much when signing and trading players. This team is full of over valued players (except Bron of course) and is a #3 in the East IMHO.

Rule #1 of being a GM. Don't every let your stars play GM

I didn't like him as a fit for the team but I thought he would have more in him than we saw last night.

Yes I think it's over for Shaq.

thats why the Bulls GM or owner didn't listen to MJ too much and it worked out

if lebron was a raptor he'd easily get 60 points a night. Bargs and Bosh are two of the least clogging forwards in the league.

that'll never happen. as much as I'd love to have another All-Star tier on our team, we'd have to go over the cap or trade some of our biggest assets for it to happen.

Shaq might not be done, but he's hearing the fat lady warming up. When Shaq was brought to Cleveland i said it wouldn't work and i stand by that. He makes them much slower and older. They need to get rid of Big Z and bring in a younger Centre for it to have chance of working. This team does alot of standing around now, very little movement. Speaking of the fat lady.....Shaq is fat!

Take Lebron off this team and they're under .500

Their bench depth simply isn't very good- Jawad williams, Karl, Moon, Darnell Jackson, Hickson, Green, Gibson, West

Cleveland on offence, did look alot like our Raptors of last year. Stagnant and waiting for Lebron to do something. With us it was usually Bosh. We looked like a real team last night, working together, using swing passes and movement to create our offence. The difference between the two offences was very evident last night.

He looked really good in the year he won in Miami. The next season he let himself go and hasn't ever really recovered. If he had kept himself in shape every year, going right back to his Laker years, then he'd still be they guy to have on any team. He's just too slow. And the game is so much about speed now. In fact it was when Miami beat Dallas. Stupid stupid Dallas for slowing the game down themselves when ahead in game 4.

THE BIG FLOP!
I mentioned it in another thread - I think his personality is starting to work against him. He fucked Nash around. He tanked pretty bad on Miami. And his game just isn't big enought to match the larger than life personality which is making him look a bit like the Big Douche.
