Exclamation Bosh calls out Team, Self after loss

Sorry Folks ... this isnt good... he looks as good as gone...

Quote:
OAKLAND, Calif. -- The Toronto Raptors are quickly fading in the Eastern Conference and Chris Bosh is getting frustrated.

In a brief three-minute conversation with reporters following a 124-112 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night, Bosh criticized his teammates and himself and said he's out of explanations for Toronto's slide that has the Raptors on the fringe of missing the post-season.

"It's like if you look at the schedule right now and see Toronto, I'm sure people are checking something in the win box," said Bosh, who had 24 points and 11 rebounds in the loss. "I can understand if we lose the game going down fighting but we're not fighting at all".

"Time is ticking and it's counting down, and if we keep playing the way we are right now, we're going to be on the outside looking in. Guys need to step it up, period."

Asked what Toronto needs to do to turn things around, Bosh -- the franchise leader in points, rebounds and blocked shots -- was succinct in his reply.

"Just do it. Act like you care," he said. "I'm going down playing offence on (the Warriors) side of the court and their bench is louder than we are. That doesn't make any sense. They're not playing for anything."

"We're trying to make the playoffs, maybe get a fifth seed, but that's like slipping every day. This isn't playoff basketball."

I could care less what he has to say. The amount of mental errors he made last night, he's just as culpable for the bad play last night. He's getting his numbers so whatever.

He should look hard in the mirror - he was awful last night, both ends of the floor, no matter what the stats say. Amir outplayed him and definitely outhustled him.

When that Toliver dude gets a bunch of offensive rebounds...

What Bosh was trying to say was guys on the bench were fucking dead.Guys like Hedo,Jack, Beli, Rasho, Weems, Evans etc... were sulking and not hooting it up to support. I know Jack was not happy when his mates gave it to him at the end of the second quarter...just seems that our guys are made of glass.

Every year he goes through a period where he just looks mentally fantigued. I don't know what his deal is, a hard time dealing with stress?, but he just hasn't looked like himself since he's been back from the injury.

No lift in his legs, and a lack of energy.

But once again this team has shown they are completely dependant on Chris Bosh to be a beast.

Bosh should really learn how to play defense and not turn the ball over 4 times a game

Tolliver was outhustling the whole frontcourt, he got a few against Amir as well. And then a couple times he got a offensive rebound on Amir or Bosh, and Bargs was a foot away with his hands in his pocket watching him put back the layup. If I had Bargs athletic ability, I would be trying to contest everything. Amir does. Bosh could contest more as well.

But the last two games Bargs is back in his, "I'm responsible for my man and my man only mode",

Then you got Hedo who is just incapable of anything.

And Derozan who is getting shit on lately, but 5,6 times stopped Montae one on one, yet his teammates gave him no help because every time their was a switch Ellis got a basket. There is nothing more frustrating then stopping a guy for a few possessions and then seeing him get an easy basket on a teammate who isn't giving the same effort you are.

nearly every play is run for Bosh especially when Jose is out there with him. If Bosh isn't focused how does he expect his teammates to be? Isn't he the FRANCHISE PLAYER... shouldn't he set an example??? How the hell does he expect a max contract right now when he looks so disinterested?

How could Bosh say this with 6 turnovers,2 fouls and 1 block? If your team has the worst defence and still you couldn't block some shots or didn't make fouls it means you were not fighting.

Bosh Erupts After Loss

After the Raptors lost their eighth game in nine tries, franchise forward Chris Bosh erupted on Saturday night.

"Just do it," Bosh said in a quiet Raptors locker room about starting to take their playoff run seriously.

"Act like you care. We need to do the things that win. We don't do the things that win. I'm going down and playing offense on their side of the court and their (bench) is louder than we are. That doesn't make any sense. They're not playing for anything. We're trying to make the playoffs. We're trying to get the fifth seed but that is, like, slipping away every day."

Bosh continued.

"We're supposed to be gearing up for playoff basketball and this is not playoff basketball," he said. "Their bench is more active than ours is. They're players are getting more stops. They're getting more offensive rebounds. Everybody is doing everything. If you look on the schedule now and see Toronto, I'm sure people are checking the win box. I can understand if we lose a game going down fighting, but we're not fighting at all."

There's goes all that optimism that Bosh was re-signing with this bullshit stretch we've had

Triano needs to start playing players for longer when they're hot (Ex DeMar and Amir last night) and shake up the rotation (put in Banks, so for the love of God, we an actually make a couple of stops on the perimeter each night)

Exactly the point. We lost 5-8 games this season by bringing Bosh in and ruining the flow. He's so inconsistent from play to play, so if the folks watched the games and not just read stats he'd be out of any trade speculations..

At first: I love bosh.

BUT: After the 4 losses WITH Bosh our team needs a leader.
And Bosh isnt one. He played statistically well but the Raptors need them on the court and outside the court.

He needs to push our guys in the training and in the game. We need a guy for motivation. A guy like Garnett.

We wouldnt have lost at least two of the last four games with Garnett.
Because he leads a team. And he motivates the guy. And Bosh lacks these abilities.

Nope i still love him. Hes still one of the best players in the league.
And he lacks leader abilities since he came in the nba.
I remember his speech in the locker room a few years back, that was great. There he was a leader! But now? Im disappointed.
