Default Bosh is becoming... a man?

Seriously, I've never really liked the guy. But he's transforming. Before he was just this skinny dude with a long ass neck that looked a lot like a real raptor. And he just happened to be a hardworker. And he was fucking quiet.

Now, he's a man. A stud. A hunk? I dunno.

He's a lot more vocal. He's become a joker and a clown. An easy-going guy. And on the court... he's got the fucking swagger of a bad-ass! Before he was very timid, but now...it's as if he knows he belongs in the league and is up there with the superstars of the game. He finally looks and acts like the leader of a club. I would say this is the first time I think he actually deserves that title.

A lot of times, people anoint players as the franchise just coz of their stats, but you've got to have the demeanour as well.

Bosh has finally got it. I have no doubt that he'd be asking for the ball during crunch time now. Hopefully, he'll deliver.

It's so nice to see him grow up. I feel like a proud parent. Oh, Bosh, you.

P.S. If we win the East... Bosh for MVP 4 sure!!!!!

He's definitely grown into the role. But there's no doubting that he always had heart.

Bosh is the man. Him and O'neal are gonna dominate down low this year.

He was talking about the desire to be a MVP in a recent interview that is a huge step in where he has come in his own mind. You can debate the fact if he ever can get to that lofty level but the fact he is thinking in those terms should be exciting for all Raptor Fans.

I have found great joy in watching the growth of Bosh on and off the floor. I feel like I have watched him grow before my eyes. Vince Carter never showed that type of growth in a non-basketball sense. Bosh has changed a lot both on and off the floor.

yup. exactly.

i said before that i was never really a fan of his, but what i did admire though was his dedication and commitment. he always set goals for himself and worked his ass off to accomplish them and he ALWAYS did.

and i did happen to see that interview and as you said, he actually came out and declared his goal to make a run for the mvp. so it's gonna be a fun ride for us fans this year if he sticks to his words and if history is any indication, he should be.

and just watching the preseason, i can already see the difference. he's a whole new player out there with a big mission.

I really think part of the reason he was so good on Team USA is the personel there, and i dont mean in terms of talent, i mean in terms of holding even him accountable and perhaps a bit of subtle intimidation. Im really hoping the experience helps him and i do think JO can provide the same kind of atmosphere in the Raptors lockerroom, one player can change an entire teams attitude, just ask Boston.

If i were Sam, when shit hits the fan (and pretty much for every young team it does at some point of the year), i would pull JO aside and just let him know he has free reign to bust some heads verbally or perhaps physically (i dont mean really beat some one up, but let them know half ass efforts and whining about min or w/e wont be tolerated). Bosh is a great leader, but i dont think he has it in him to shit on his teammates when they need to be shit on, the way Jordan or Kobe did/do.

But don't you see...The dreads are a metaphor for how Chris has grown as a person. As he grows, so do his dreads.
