Looks like Amare might be out, can you imagine Amare, AB, and JO?

I can. Defense and rebounding are both there.

Send Bosh away, with AP and fillers...keep Jason and add Jose, we will have a sick lineup. We will get another star, arguably better for our team...and build around that.

BC took Amare too..so maybe a little relationship?

I don't know...but this team SUCKS right now...and guess what? Jay didn't do no voodoo magic bullshit.

And Sam is the better coach, hands down.

Really?

And Bargs then moves to what position? The bench again?

Amare may be one of the most overrated players of this decade. Hell, if we want to get rid of Bosh that quickly for another big, go out and get Boozer then.

Amare is good, no doubt, but he has knees that won't last long, needs great PG to feed him the ball and would send Bargnani to bench.... sure he can rebound and block shots... but wasn't JO supposed to be the same way?

Amare is a worse defender, has a worse attitude, has bad knees and is older. Give me Bosh any time.

Amare isnt a worse defender.

Amare's defensive numbers

Defensive rating is 108, blocks is 1 per 36 and steals is 1 per 36

Bosh's defensive rating is 109(lower number is better), blocks is 0.8 per 30 and steals is 0.7 per 36(lower numbers are worse)

Trade Bosh and JO for Araujo.

No Amare please. Worst defender than Bosh. Worst attitude. Even worse in crunchtime. Wouldn't resign with us. Why do we want this guy again?

Please see my above post.

Worse attitude-probably, for now.

Even worse in crunch time-Seriously can't get anyworse than dropping the ball, turning it over and getting blocked.

Wouldnt resign-No real way to know that.

We would still have a void at the wing. If we are gonna trade Bosh trade him for a wing, why would we need another big??? It makes no sense

We don't need anymore bigs....and Bosh > Amare.

If we trade Bosh, it better be for young wing players like OJ, Gay, Durant etc.

I would do:

Bosh/AP

for

Stoudamire/Barbosa

And then trade JO this summer especially if he can stay healthy for the remainder of this season. You can really upgrade at the wing position with JO as 23Million dollar bait. Then re-sign Delfino.

Problem is Rasam, interior defense really hasn't been an issue this season. It's the perimeter where we're having issues. If Amare's pissed as he is right now with a much better team in Phoenix, then he's going to be miserable here here in Toronto because really don't improve if its an Amare for Bosh swap. If anything, Phoenix is getting the better end of the deal and we remain the same.

I agree. Amare has Nash, relies plenty on his athleticism, and gives up very often on defense. He rarely chases after somebody open on the perimeter. All this and that "I want to have the ball more" attitude.

Even if this guy does come back he is gonna want more money then what we were paying him. On top of that he is not even that good a player. Career average is 5.6 with 3rebounds. On top of that he is one streeky guy. On off on off all season long.

His career average is low because when he played in Detroit he got less minutes, which equal less points and when he came here he got mare minutes. He is inconsistent but he is better than half of our wings

Yep.

CG and Bel are right on.

Amare isn't going to be able to right this ship. He's less interested in D than Bosh is and once he's on his own with no Nash and Shaq he'll see what life is REALLY like for a lone "star" player in the NBA.

I like how you snuck that in there at the end. Sadly sam was not a better coach. The fact that he cant even get a job in the NBA stays exactly that. Oh and a lot of this is not trianos fault. 90% of this is all the players and the roster. This team just flat out sucks. Coaching has little to do with it at this point. Im sure triano wasnot the one that caused them to shoot 30% an entire game.
