see, the thing is Bosh NEVER said or even implied he wants to leave. Even assuming we're bad in 2010, I doubt Bosh will leave to much money on the table, especially considering that the new CBA will be a lot less friendly with players. 2010 might be last chance to get a huge 7 years contract, so I have a feeling that ALL free agents will choose to stay with their teams, if possible. Think about it, isn't it a better choice to first sign a huge 7 year contract, and then 1-2 years into it to demand a trade? That way you get to keep the money and get to go to a different team if your current situation doesn't improve.

as far as the chicago trade, any package they would offer would have to be constructed around derrick rose - that much is obvious. Rose + Deng for Bosh - now you're talking.

I love bosh....but since he is gonna leave , this is the most fair trade that both teams should swing by and will actually make both teams better imo;

If i had to trade Bosh
a potential all-star like OJ MAYO would have to be involved
something like OJ Mayo Marc Gasol Antoine Walker 1st round pick
for Chris Bosh

Why take Rose when Calderon is so elite?

calderon is not elite, Calderon is just very good. Rose is showing the potential to be special, Chris Paul special.

That would be good but isn't Walker already bought out?

In what league is Bosh MVP candidate? Not in NBA that's for sure.

May&Gay works. You could probably add in Warrick or someone like that.

If we were to give up Bosh to Toronto, it would be... ( Jose there cause we'd have 5 point guards)

trade ideas with teams like memphis are nonsensical. cb is unlikely to stay in memphis, and absolutely wouldn't if they were to trade away their only promising talent. why would they do the deal?

that approach can be used with many of the trade ideas.

(1) a team needs to be a desirable location; (2) a team with talent enough to show a future of winning; (3) a combination thereof.

golden state is one of the few losing teams with young talent with whom i can see a workable deal. with young talent anchors like ellis and biedrins to show Bosh a future of surrounded talent and a good location, the warriors still have a good collection of attractive assets: randolph, wright, bellinelli, azibuki, plus filler vets that are expensive but not total dead weight like crawford, jackson, maggette (jackson and maggette have long contracts, but that would probably help get more young talent in compensation) as well as what should be a good draft pick.
