Bucks Bogut: "Defensively, Bargnani is not a five"

Quote:
"I got a lot of easy looks," Bogut said. "Defensively, [Andrea] Bargnani is not a five [center]. He's such a great shooter that they play him at the five to stretch the floor for Bosh, but he's a little light physically so that's why I tried to go at him."

Bargnani needs to hit the gym like Bosh did last summer.

He's playing well as of late. Imagine gaurding a 400 pound beast (Shaq) one night... and having to go against Bogut in less than 24 hours. It's not really fair.

I've been a Bargnani basher before for good reason, but he's playing well as of late and can easily shut down Bogut had he not had to have the biggest workout session of the season the night before.

hit the gym like Bosh?

Bargnani has filled out way more in his career than Bosh in his. One thing i can't knock Andrea for is the way he's spent his offseasons. Dude's come to camp bigger and stronger every season.

Bogut is a great player. I would love to have him on my team (provided he could stay healthy).

Weighing more doesn't make you stronger. Dwight Howard at almost 100 pounds less than the average offensive lineman can bench press just as much. Bosh got stronger over the summer.

Anyways, Raps will destroy them, Bargnani will shut him down, Bucks won't make the playoffs, and that's the end of that.

I'm not saying Bosh didn't get stronger. He did and that's cool.

I'm just saying Bosh is kind of a poor guy to have Bargnani aspire to be like when it comes to 'hitting the gym'. If past summers are any indication, Bargnani is far more of a gym rat.

?? Who talks about him... he's an under-rated center imo. He reminds me of Kaman without the jumpshot.Very good rebounder and post game. A lot of centers don't have that.

I don't think Bargnani has put in an offseason like Bosh just did yet.

Bosh went through a pretty serious regimine.

That said, Bargnani can.

And he will I bet.

Look out.

Bogut is right, but only for last night. Raps always look like the Nets after a back to back.

I see Bargs destroying Bogut on Friday for talking all that Trash.

he should have held back on those comments until after friday's game... because Bargs is gonna come out for blood now (i hope).
i guess he's right though becuase he absolutely abused Bargs last night... neither Bargs nor Bosh had an answer for his baby hook in the paint he kept going to; it was automatic.
these are the games that we desperately need reggie. Bargs gets pounded, we switch in Bosh and he gets pounded... we have no answer to defend a big when he's on fire.
it was sad to see.

Bargnani has fairly large legs and I suspect that when they are fresh on Friday, Bogut will be singing a different tune when he tries to back him down.

I hope Bargnani sees this and has three blocks friday.

Bogut is ok, but i've never thought he was that good.
