Default Blow it Up.

I think the expansion Raptors, would beat this club. There are absolutly zero untouchables on this team.

Tank it....yep tank it..

Even if we hit the 7th or 8th spot....big friggen deal....out in 4 or 5.

Money, Picks,...and Bargs....

Let build this thing like the blazers....

Bosh, please stop yelling at your teammates, untill you have a good long look in the mirror.

FACK

Bosh, Jose, Bargnani.

that's a good core 3 right there.

Bosh is probably the most frustrated guy on the team right now. I agree with you that his yelling and shit is a bit pointless, but when someone is down in the dumps i usually cut them some slack.

What are you talking about?
Tank it? You tank it when you still win some games, but Raptors are not winning games, so what's the point of tanking when they are losing anyway?

I know you are frustrated, but hold on your pants, Raptors just have to play thru pain this season and hope for the best next season.

Of course nobody is untouchable. I agree man.

the thought of trading Bosh entered my mind a month or so ago, but i kept pretty quiet about it.

Colangelo can trade anyone, absolutely... but i still like a core of Bargnani, Bosh, Calderon.

I agree with Fancy. We should keep that core and trade away everyone else for draft picks. Blow the team up and start again. If Bosh wants to leave let him

no.... this team is in bad need of some changes. We can all see it. Whenever those changes will come, then we can start to have some real hope for next year.

I suggest people go to the trade proposal thread where I dealt both Bosh and Calderon

Trading Bosh and getting little to no value for him since his contract ends soon is a great idea!! Building around a guy with about 1 month of truely starter quality play is also a great idea!!! This will just leave us in the exact same position as when BC got here, high pick, cap space, but no Bosh, just AB, and im sorry for all you Bosh haters, AB is nowhere close to ready to lead a team, not even in the same area code.

Lets all hit the panic button and blow this thing back to the stone age and be the new Clippers or old Hawks, get on the verge of being decent and blow it up. Newsflash for alot of ppl, 47wins was a huge overachievement, last year was more of a true showing. Your expectations were way too high, especially since all we did was lose depth and add toothpick leg man.

Do w/e we can to keep Bosh. I would only consider moving Jose if the deal were really favorable to us, and obv keep AB til we really discover how far he will come. The cards are laid out, no big trades this year unless it's JO.

Bosh, Calderon and Bargnani are not touchable. Trading them will be stupid. BC can trade Bosh this summer only if he thinks Bosh will leave. Even then he has to get someone with a big name in return.

Nonsense, Bosh is not a number one, and we would get fair value for him today, if not in the summer.

Of course we need changes but that won't change the fate of this season. Even the eight place became further with every loss Raptors encounters. The only deal could make Raptors a little bit better is trading JO and if it happens soon not at deadline (19 Feb). Any other move that doesn't involve Bosh, Calderon or Bargnani would not change at all Raptors fate. Dealing any of Bosh, Calderon or Bargnani would mean rebuilding mode with little chance to turn around this year and no guarantee in future will make any splash.

Jerry Stackhouse with Detroit was considered a big time name. He led the league in scoring one season. He was traded for a "small" name. That name? Richard Hamilton.

Same with Grant Hill who at one point was considered THE guy in the assosciation. He decided to leave to Orlando, only in a sign in trade where Detroit received to relative unknowns in Chucky Atkins and Ben Wallace.

You put all those pieces together and that's the foundation of their championship team.

So getting a "big name" player is overrated.

I secretly wonder how much longer until Bosh privately (if he hasn't already) or publicly requests a trade out of this mess. He does that and what we might get for him plummets. i'm all for trading anyone on this team if it might net us some future gains like it did the blazers.
but what the hell is the point of netting future gains if three years in, and one summer with significant cap space pissed away already, why I should think BC is going to make the necessary moves to put the team in a position to be playoff ready in a few years.

the win now or in a year is pointless because this team is weak at too many positions and their bench right now to significantly threaten boston, orlando, detroit, and cleveland.

QUESTION:

Who was the best player to every sign with the Raptors as a free agent?
