Default Bleacher Report: Toronto Raptors Eye Prospects in March Madness

Adam Francis from RaptorsHQ.com and Bleacher Report gives his impressions on who he feels are "hot" and "not" from the first round of March Madness. Here are the players he feels who's stock is rising and who's are falling:

RISING

1) Demar DeRozan – Forward, USC
2) Tyreke Evans – Guard, Memphis
3) Johnny Flynn – PG, Syracuse
4) Evan Turner – SG/SF, Ohio State
5) Marcus Thornton – PG/SG, LSU

FALLING

1) Jeff Teague and James Johnson, Wake Forest
2) James Harden – SG, Arizona State
3) Jrue Holiday – PG/SG, UCLA
4) Greg Monroe – PF/C, Georgetown

Not surprised to see James Harden's stock is falling. Have not been impressed with what I've seen of him in the tournament.

DeRozan is a freak athlete though, would love to see him in a Raptor jersey.

Harden looked like he would have fit perfectly with this year's team. Please no more of the hesitant shots.

Depending upon where toronto ends up right.... I think, unfortunately, that Jose looks a bit better lately, and Bosh and Bargnani seem to have figured a little something out.

Sadly, The Raps will most likely win more than they lose down the stretch, meaning, Colangelo aint getting a good pick unless he does one of two things.... trades up. Or learns to effectively scout mid picks.

don't worry, we can't improve our position by more than 2 places, nor can we fall by more than 2. It's probably not going to make any difference.

If we get #1 pick no doubt take Griffin and trade Bosh. If we get a top seven pick that isnt #1 we should take Harden or Derozan..Preferably Derozan. If we are at 7 and up maybe draft Jonny Flynn, or Wille Warren and trade away Calderon. I also think Tyreke Evans and Gerald Henderson would make nice picks. But BC would be a fool to trade the pick away again this year. I think this draft is actually quite solid, especially if Rubio ends up entering. Is Rubio one hundred percent entering?

Nobody ever talks about the second round either on this board. I think that their are a couple of steals at our draft position. Jerel McNeal and AJ Price are absolutely amazing players and I honestly have no clue why they are listed as going in the second round. They would be complete steals. I also think Josh Heytvelt will turn into a good big man. He reminds me of a more athletic Brad Miller.

why do you want to trade our stars and replace them with people who can potentially become as good as them?

I think we should draft Andy Rautins.
