Bleacher Report: Raptors could be very busy making headlines on draft night

Here's an interesting article which includes rumours including the Bulls are willing to give anyone on the roster not named Rose/Noah for Bosh.

Another one (From Stephen A. Smith ) has the Pistons offering a package including RIP/Prince to get Bosh, as they are regretting not going after Bosh in 2003.

Also Memphis possibly willing to part with Gay for Bosh, Miami offering a package including Beasly, and GS also interested in Bosh.

Another rumour has the Raptors trading down in the draft and in the process shedding Kapono or Banks contract in the deal. (1st i've heard of us trading down out of the lottery)

Anyway, here it is. Alot of the same but here it is.

I wouldn't mind trading for a later pick in the draft if we can get rid of Kaps.

Whoa... I never knew Rudy Gay was available... But it is not worth it for Bosh; We would have to take another ugly contract with Gay.

Deng, Thomas and the #16? That's not bad. I would like to see a guy like Gray included as well though.

There have been a bunch of Prince and Rip rumors. Deng, I've heard nothing about.

The Chicago deal has a lot of red tape on it - Deng, while he's a talent, is injury prone. And if we're taking him, we're banking on the fact that he can rebound to where he was in 06-07. Thomas, while he's becoming a defensive demon (and I think he's the second coming of Marion with his leaping ability and defensive prowlessness), he's a knucklehead and has had run-ins with coaches since his arrival on the scene in the NBA.

In terms of the Pistons deal, while I love Rip and Tayshaun, those dudes are older. I'd want to go forward with a young core. I think that deal means we could deal Marion to Washington for the #5 pick and take Hill. I think this deal makes us a playoff team, but a #6-8 seed and a first round exit.

I don't I do either deals.

if we could somehow grab Gay and Gasol from Memphis and weasel our way at their number 2 pick, that would be magical.
Bosh and 9... what else would it take?

We'd need to take back Jaric for sure, but I don't think we're getting Gasol in a deal for Bosh. We'd probably also have to take back crazy-ass Darko

get rid of banks! At least kapono has somewhat of a three shot which could come back if we could get more pg penetration. Banks is just 100% useless and has no role anywhere

He was hampered by injuries the past couple of years. I say let him have his surgery, rest up and gear up for next season. Who knows, maybe by him being healthy he'll be a much better player.

No way you're getting two core players and a top 2 pick for Bosh and the nine. The Grizz would SERIOUSLY drop to the shitter if that trade went through. I can't see anyone else on our roster making that deal happen because either the Grizz wouldn't want guys we offered, or we wouldn't part with guy the Grizz wanted.
