Available= by trade or sign, its not possible to get Roy or Pierce in a deal unless we're giving away Bosh because theyre centerpieces for each team going forward, and we're not willing to give up Bosh.

Quote:
To Raptors:
Pierce
Rondo
Davis

To Celtics:
Ford
Graham
Baston
Kapono
2nd round picks and Giorgos Printezis.
So Ford= Rondo, and then Pierce= Joey? Heh.

Humpries for Lebron!

If I was BC I'd pull the trigger for Roy but otherwise, I'd try to get rid of Ford in a package for like a 20PPG scorer.
Paul Pierce in mind.
I lol'd.

Pipe dream my friend ... Huuuuuge pipe dream. At this point I don't think the Blazers would even deal Roy for Bosh. That's how good Roy is.

Assuming they're retarded. =]
How'd Celtics get Allen and Garnett without giving up Pierce?

They gave up a lot of GOOD young talent. In your trades we're giving away one good young player and a bunch of crap basically and getting an allstar in return plus a couple other good role guys.

Delonte West, Jeff Green, Al Jefferson and Ryan Gomes and a bunch of expiring deals arent crap.

Jeff Green and Delonte West for a Ray Allen is indeed crap. If they can do that, Raptors can. We just need to find a desperate team like the Bucks and give some pieces of garbage for a Redd. With the exception of Ford in that deal.
Al Jefferson and Ryan Gomes for a KG is also crap. AJ is a high potential guy but for KG!
Gerald who? Theo who? Theo crap.
BTW, Jose is worth a lot don't you think?

Jeff Green is a very, very nice player. Considering Seattle was in rebuild mode, getting what the 3rd overall pick and Delonte for an aging Ray Allen, an Allen who was coming off an injury plagued season, was a good deal and it set them up nicely for their future (kind fucked Boston's future).

And Al Jefferson (averaged what 20 and 10 and is how old again) is a VERY nice piece and Ryan Gomes is heavily underrated. Theo was an expiring, Telfair was expiring and I believe Gerald Green was traded on potential, last season he was starting to break out, but something confidence wise happened to him. So getting three very good young players + cap space is a good trade for a team seeking to rebuild.

And that's what you're forgetting, the rebuilding aspect. Sure they could've traded KG for well any good player out there, but what good would it do if you're 3-4 years away from contending?

And again, everyone lately is over valuing Calderon (needs to learn how to defend and create for himself) and Ford (obvious issues). We're not gonna get this miracle scorer. This thought needs to end. What we're gonna get is a guy who can likely score 13 to 15 ppg and maybe play some defense.

I could understand the Ray Allen trade but KG is a future hall of famer and former MVP. You could say he's the best PF in the league. D and offence and swagger. Where would you find that? Al Jefferson is really great but do you think he can handle a franchise by himself?
People are too distracted to notice Calderon's weaknesses. If a good deal is to strike then land it. If BC is the only one who notices this weakness then he should work on it with him during the summer. (An assistant)

I think KG is one of those guys who shouldn't have beeen traded at all unless it's for an All-Star+++ package.
Though 7 players and draft picks seem really intriguing.

Wouldn't the Blazers be planning to use Roy at PG and Rudy at SG then? I assume if Fernandez pans out, they'll both be starters, no.

I don't see what a 12 inch penis would add to the average Joe that he can't do already...

Rufy fernandez plays SF here in spain, but he hasnt got enough weight to play that position in the NBA. I supose he will play SG backing Roy. Who knows, maybe they will use him as SF too.
