Bill Walton just gave us some major props

had a rant on the halftime show about how good a team we are... and how amazing bosh is.
called us the most underrated team in the league and was very vocal about how great we'd be if we got healthy.
he's on the bandwagon, thats for sure.

[Bill Walton] The Toronto Raptors are the most underrated team in the history of Western Civilization.[/Bill Walton]

[bill walton] the toronto raptors, led by the perpetual double double himself, Chris Bosh, remind me of a night i had in the hot mojave desert, where there was smoke and fire, and hot stones, jerry garcia and beethoven. I saw colours i still dont have a name for. they were feverish like the high screen and roll bliss of jose calerdon rolling off to the hoop for a majestic lob to bosh. throw it down big man! the raptors are a team to be reckoned with like the high collared shirts of Brian Colangelo. this is a team, that I enjoy watching. this is a team forged from the very fires of mordor, that sam and frodo would walk three months to see. ROTFLMAO .... great stuff guys and very Walton-esque!!!

Now maybe one of these seasons we'll actually get a game covered on national television so the rest of the American nation can see what all the rage is about. ;)

Anyhow, considering how tough our schedule has been in the month of December we're sitting pretty right now. (*knocks on wood*)

Can't wait to see what this team can do in January and February with a healthy squad, but also with a healthy T.J. Ford. :)

I hope its not a big let down and just a repeat of the our first meeting against Boston, but with a different outcome this time around.

Enjoy the game Cling ... hopefully with "Blizzard '07" on its way to Ontario that it'll still be a sellout. :D

Yeah, they say on the weather network that his storm may be crippling from Hamilton to Montreal by even midday tomorrow. Forcasting in the GTA about 30cm by around noon with an additonal 5-10cm during the afternoon. :(

So, seeing how you live in Guelph if I were you I'd leave now in order to get to the game on time. ;)

I'll take a look around and see if I can find it somewhere.

Doug Smith is impressed with Wilbon and Walton comments last night apparently. :)

From Doug's blog today:

In our post-game relaxation period, made much more palatable thanks to some sliders and a pair of adult beverages, we also got to see halftime of the Lakers-Warriors.

Seems Mike Wilbon and Bill Walton of ESPN are both fans. Wilbon had Toronto fourth in his list of the five most exciting teams in the NBA and Walton had ‘em tied with the Lakers for fifth.

That’s pretty good respect from two guys whose opinion I respect.
