Ha - would love that trade. Even works due to the Warriors having a giant trade exception. Would be sad to see Ross go, but that's a lot of talent coming back the other way.

I think I know a way we can get Barry Bonds and Ken Griffey Jr. and we won't have to give up that much.

Not exactly type of centre that we need, but I would be really happy if we would get him

Is our cap really that tight?
I was always under the impression we were doing alright.

Resigning Lowry, PP and GV would cripple us?

We were never going to have much cap space until 2015

Well if MLSE is serious, can't we go over the tax to resign Lowry with Bird Rights?

We can spend any excess cap space on a free agent (hint, hint Luol Deng). If Lieweke spend like $100m on Defoe and Bradley for TFC, it's only fair that the Raptors get some budge love too.

We can but my guess is that we won't go into the tax until next summer.

I'm very intrigued by KJ McDaniels. If we are eventually trying to win it all at some point, we're going to have to go through LeBron. While you can't stop him, you can at least try and slow him down. With defensive stopper potential, if he's around, I take a flyer on him.
Even some of his weaknesses may be a bit muted with a defined pecking role, like we have on our team.

We can. But until we sign Lowry, he has a cap hold that sits on the cap and prevents us from signing free agents. So we can't sign Luol Deng then go over the cap to sign Lowry.

I really cannot understand how this things work for other team like Brooklyn they are already way over the time before they got AK47?

Surely if can go around it why not us...

Interesting for sure though I like the heavier 6'8" Grant with his 7'2" wing span but I'd be happy with either. Not sure about either slowing LBJ, both give up 40-50 lbs so I'd suspect he'd abuse them in the post. Lots of defensive potential though in both.

As for a flier, honestly, I'll probably get roasted but I would love MU to take Mitch McGary. 6'10" 266, 7' wingspan, almost 9' standing reach, loves to bang in the paint and seek contact, has a nose for offensive boards and blocks. Can finish with both hands and can shoot out to 18'. He could potentially be a really decent back up to JV and paired with PP on the second line -who stretches the floor - can be a nice combo together. If he hadn't been busted for some marijuana and facing a year suspension in college, I feel conservatively he could've cracked mid to better in the first rd next year. Just to clarity the motor, he's no Beasley, more Noah - pot smoker that he was too but they have similar motors and aggressive play. With such a shortage of big men coming into the league - or even available - I would take him with the first and then seek a vet for the SF need.

He left an 8 figure salary in Minny to play for the MLE I think in Brooklyn - cost the Nets a lot in taxes but it was an exception that was used. Most feel he was offered " under the table " compensation that the Russian owner is known for since his salary is way below market for him.

AK47 makes 3 million dollars precisely because that is all the Nets could offer.
