He's one of my favourite players , he can do it all. I would be surprised if he received less than 12.

Blazers stunk until we got Robin Lopez and Mo Williams. Just throwing that out there.

I hope that Lowry can use this opertunity to put some pressure on ownership to step up and add a couple pieces to this team. He doesn't have to be a hold out, but a conversation about what he wants and a gentleman's agreement would be great. I think it works in our favor if Lowry re-ups early and makes this roster more attractive to FAs to sign here.

yes. $9,315,000 according to sham. 150% of current salary. so no, you can't sign a ufa first.

could be got for almost nothing tho i reckon, buried on the clippers bench.
I was going to suggest the same thing. I've liked that dude's defensive game since he was back in Charlotte.

I really like the Jared Dudley suggestion. Maybe the Clippers would want Novak - floor spacer 3/4 would fit nicely into a few of their lineups. Novak for Dudley. Make it happen. Same length of contract, except Dudley has a player option in the last season, and Novak makes a bit less.

Yeah, but the Clippers use Barnes. He's key to their rotation. Dudley has fallen out of favour there, he hasn't gotten any minutes in the playoffs.

i konw, but honestly if you're the GM do you take a guy like that or do you go for a possible starter for us whom as a cheap contract ?

but i could see them doing something like that because they need also to improve above a barnes.

CLIP get Salmons + 1st tor 2015
tor get Dudley + Barnes

or something like that.

As for a shot blocking C, I could see a trade to grab a guy a team doesn't want.

TPE and OKC 2nd 2014 for Thabeet at draft? TPE for Joel Anthony at draft (Anthony would need to pick up his option)? What about Kosta Koufos in MEM? He only gets about 16 MPG and is due to make 3M - do they shed him for salary relief? We can absorb him straight up as well as trade Hansbrough for him.

At SF, a guy I know little about (in terms of situation) is Chris Copeland in Indy. He can shoot (he actually has really good advanced stats all around), he's due 3M next year and nothing after, and he got almost no minutes for the Pacers.

No thanks on trading picks for short term solutions.

Sadly, Novak hasn't been able to hit the side of the barn for quite awhile now. The 1 thing he was good at he isn't anymore - I would trade away Novak in a heart beat but on the same token, I wouldn't even consider a trade for him. I'm thinking most teams would feel that way.
