The team's developing a nice chemistry...let them play the games. If a trade comes along that will improve the team then by all means make it, but some of you guys are just so impatient.

just because we may lack something in other areas it doesn't mean we have a bad pg situation, if anything we need to address our center position, and find a big man to play alongside bargnanni and push Bargs to the pf

if we had a lebron james for a two guard, nobody would say anything bad about jose,
not taking anything away from the kid derozan, but let the team develop a little bit

If the future of this team includes jose at the point we're in trouble. I agree we need a true defensive Centre, but right after that the PG position needs to be addressed. And if the PG position begins to addressed first so be it. And it doesn't have to be now, but before next season.

If anything he threw it into Bosh way to much at the detriment of our wings and Bargs and it became unbelievably predictable.
If this is true, I'm wondering how it was that we were once of the top offensive teams in the league last season.

Because the defense was historically bad. Meaning opposing teams, certain they could score at will and at any juncture, more than likely floated on defense for the majority of the game, before cranking up said defense in the 4th. Oh, and Hedo.

Last season, you mean during our horrible start with Jose starting, the 6 weeks he sat out due to injury when we were one of the hottest teams in the league, his subsequent return when he was coming off the bench or when he returned to the starting lineup in March when we then went back in the shitter? Jose was horrible last season, which explains why most wanted him gone last summer.

Wha? lol.... so teams routinely "didn't try" against us for the first 3 Qs and then just put us away in the 4th?

Come on....

So it was all Jack then? If that's so then why did he get dealt?

Maybe you wait until the summer and deal Jose for a Center and try and upgrade the PG spot through the draft, or FA or another trade.
We already have future flexibility there is more than 20 million coming off the books this season & we still have the tpe
Jose is staying unless BC gets a really good deal & I really don't see a good deal involving Bibby!

When we were going good last season (Mid december- end of february) Jose was out for more the half of it and comimg off the bench for the rest of it. Jack was ONE of the reasons we were good for a couple months going 24-11. All Jack, no....was he a large part of it I'd say yes. And he got dealt because NO didn't want to pay Jose 30Mil over 3yrs to backup CP3. BTW take a look at how well Jose was doing when Jack was traded. He epically bad the first 3-4 weeks of the season (30FG%, 11 3pt%).

I have no interest in getting involved in debates about jack/jose. However, in order to add some clarity to what Jeffb is saying, it's worth noting that Hedo averaged roughly 6 assists per game while Jose was injured last season. So, no, not all Jack, but the team had the players to easily compensate for Jose's absence.

On the other side of the argument, you have to take into account that some of the games played during Jose's absence were against weaker opponents. The Raps racked up some wins against mediocre teams last season.

Just some objectivity.

Their historically bad defense? Their record? The human condition??? In a long season, why exert unnecessary energy when a lackadaisical effort is sufficient? Plus, Chris Anderson told me so.

Based on a few games? Really? Even if you base it on 20 games. Ultimately i don't know if we could do much better at THIS point. Maybe if we're patient and wait until the summer if Jose can stay healthy the rest of the season, but that's doubtful right now.
