Best shot or play you've seen live

Ok, that Belinelli buzzer beater from tonight at the end of the 3rd quarter, got me thinking. I've seen about 20-25 games live and i don't think i've ever seen a buzzer beater, especially one like that in a close game. I was just wondering, what play sticks out in your mind when you were at a Raps game. Buzzer beater or otherwise.

^^^^I got goose bumps when this play happened. lol

I think the Bargs 3 at the end was a bigger shot ....

Belli played aggressive tonight ... I wish his shot would come around. We could of pulled away tonight if either Belli or Weems hit a couple.

Fun game to watch ... good hussle from both teams.

Side Show Bob brought the house down with that three. I still hate him though.

This is a pretty easy one for me.

I was at the Raps / Philly game a few seasons ago where Bosh hit that three pointer that was kind of at the buzzer (shot clock buzzer at least) at the end of the game. I'll post a youtube when i can (work's firewall).

It was cool too because i was at the game with Mangokidhoops and he knew a usher that let us down into the lower bowl. Good times.

I remember this one play about 9 years ago. It was a home game vs. the Spurs at 12:30 start on a Sunday and it was an NBC game. The game itself was a blow out but I remember Derek Anderson for the Spurs went up for a dunk and crammed it down on either Davis or one of the C's.

It was an awesome dunk and seeing how I was with Tommytwotimes watching that play and he's a huge Kentucky fan, it was a good moment.

The other moment was Game 2 of the series v. New Jersey. We needed the win and we needed a stop in the 4th. Chris had this massive block on Richard Jefferson. Completely gave us the momentum we needed to win that game and get the split. Crowd erupted and the noise was deafening.

as much as i hate to admit it, for me it was probably the deep vince 3 to send the game to overtime in the game where mo pete was tossed for joking around and slapping vince after vince slapped him. that was just a big nuts comeback 3 to break the back of the raps. top it off with a fairly savage dunk to slam the door shut in ot, and it was masterful. too bad he was in a nets uniform at the time.

there's two that stand out. the first was more the series that led up to it, but it was at the ACC in the playoff series against Phili where Vince went for 55. The crowd was completely insane the whole game. There was one point where nobody in my section even sat down for ten minutes. The play that stood was where Vince corralled an errant shot by tapping it to himself catching and hitting a fallaway three on the baseline. 19,000 people going apeshit probably made it more than it was, but its what stands out.
The other was a playoff game in Motown where Keon Clark went baseline and dunked on the entire pistons team. It was fucked! I was sitting one row up from underneath that basket when it happened. My girlfriend at the time jumped and spilled her pop all over me. Sweet dunk though. The Detroit fans were bashing us and saying shit about Canada all game but even they got out of their seats for that one.

the Carter play is at 3:30

Clingrap., two things jump out at me in that vid;

1. The announcers from TNT clearly calling the 6'ers "we" and the Raptors "they". Ridiculous for what s supposed to be non-bias game calling.
2. The stat for Carter up to that game. 27 shots, no trips to the line. Ouch.

well, i wasn't at that game... and i have been to two playoff losses in which no hugely clutch shots were made. if the question is what i sthe best shot you've seen live, my answer is vince hitting a clutch shot to essentially win a game and stab his former team right between the eyes. that was pretty freaking clutch.

and if you're talking most clutch of all time, how can you discount mj's pushoff on russell? or dennis johnson's 19 foot dagger against the pistons in '87?

Jackass?

Please note what a pisspoor defesively organized team we were at that time to have Calderon guarding Vince. There's no way he should have been guarding him to begin with. Somewhere there was a serious breakdown of communication.

During his sulking years, I saw Vince effortlessly nail a windmill dunk from what seemed like the foul line. T'was a thing of beauty, reluctant as he may have been.

My dad and I were about to leave the game with a minute left to catch the train back to Ottawa but Lebron hit that 3 vs Marshall and then hit 2 fadeaways going out of bounds to keep it at 3. We of course missed the train. Toronto pulled it out.

I was also at the Seattle game where Bargs hit that 3 at the end of the game, as well as Allen.

But this is by far the best shot I've seen:

Bosh Rookie Highlights 03-04..." target="_blank">YouTube - Chris Bosh Rookie Highlights 03-04...

at about the 4 minute mark. Boshs rookie year vs Houston. My first game, getting to see Yao and Tmac team up. We got like 18th row seats which turned out to be standing room only so we were pissed, so in the mdidle of the 1st qtr we basically asked an entire row of people to re arrange their seating so we could get 2 seats together. The entire upper deck was Yao Ming fans it was pretty crazy.

Anyway, when that shot happened I dont think anyone expected it which made it all the more special. EVERYONE thought VC was taking it, and even Bosh was star gazing after the shot like wtf happened. The game went into double OT and we pulled it out, it was Boshs breakout performance, i think he had 26 and 14.
