Default the best short term plan

1. resign marion for 8/yr for 4 years
2. trade Bosh straight up for KG (with POB as filler)
3. sign delfino, rasho, paker and wafer

Jose + Delfino + Marion + KG + Bargnani
Parker + Waver + Evans + Rasho

This lineup can compete for a title for at least 2 years. 3 years from now KG is a FA, we can trade marion as an expiring contract and reload.

I can't think of any other realistc scenario who could give us more short term results while keeping our mid term flexibility.

I was a little stunned at the KG part. I really doubt Boston will trade the heart and soul of their team.

They would trade him if he is still not 100% but why would the raps trade for him?

This is just a bad idea.

right, why would you want the toughest player on a team that is considered among the least tough in the league ....

as far as boston, they have their cup, they might start thinking about the future. With Bosh, they will be a good team for 5+ years. Not title contending quality, but still, a team that can win in the playoffs.

For us it's a no brainer. KG is the better player, and while older, if we want to win now, this is the best route.

I think there's no comparison between marion + andreea + Calderon + delfino + wafer + rasho + evans and any of their rosters. I think this is a better team that their 2004 team - as long as KG can stay healthy.

kg = highest paid motherfucker in the nba, we'd be spending like 9 mil (?) extra for someone who is injured, already has a bad relationship with jose (causing bad chemistry) and losing the leader of our team. we wouldn't have room to address our main issues, and break our team apart.

that is by far the worst trade i've ever heard of. fail boat for raps. kg is done if he comes back he's only gonna be half as good as he was on average he'll have his highest mark sometimes as 3/4 of what he was before his injury. keving garnett as of his injury is highest paid player in the nba who also is mediocre. sure in 2002 even 05 but, now can you give me a hell no.

I would say we trade Bosh for big guy like Tyson Chandler or Greg Oden for more defensive end, rebounding presence and bit scoring ability. I know CP3 likes how Bosh play cos of his consistant and hard work.
