Bosh was an all-star last season and averaged 19/8 and if it wasn't for his piss poor start he would probably averaged 20/9 ......as a 3rd option. He gets to the line and imo he'll likely average 19/9 or so this season and is much more efficient than Bargs as well.

I would take 19/9 from Bosh as a 3rd option over Bargs 21/5 as our number one option. And i would take Bosh's effort over Bargs as well.

Give Bargs Lebron and Wade to make it fair.... geez, jeff, you're better than this.

Bargnani is really the only player on this team who can consistently create his own shot when being place in iso. If he goes, our offense goes pretty much.

he probably would. Not saying it would be any better, but that's just how good Lebron and Wade are.

He's not efficient enough to do it on 5 less shots per game and doesn't get to the line enough. On Miami Bargs is a 15/5 player at best. You think he'd grab 8+ boards?

not efficient? Miami would love his three point shooting.... dude would definitely be more efficient there as a third option....

Even in the playoffs, Bosh was getting left wide open for 15 foot jumpers.... come on.

10 million is too much for a guy that looks like he is going for a casual stroll on too many defensive possessions. That's when he's not jumping away from his guard, as if repelled by magnetic forces. Nor can I ponder Spo or Riley being able to fathom seeing such play from one of their own. He could be a good offensive weapon off the bench, but not for a team hoping to win a championship.

Wha?

I will never understand this...

When Bosh was here he was "just another avg. player on a shitty team putting up stats".

Now that he's on an awesome team it's "well of course his numbers are going to look good... look how much help he has!"

Which is it? Because it really can't be both....

If you think that Bosh wasn't an important part of that Heat team last season then I honestly don't know what you were watching. He DESTROYED the Lakers in both games last season (against one of the best frontcourts in bball) and killed the Bulls in the playoffs. He wasn't just spotting up and shooting jumpers like Haslem.

If Bargs was on MIA people would be complaining about Joel Anthony or wade or Lebron "stealing all his rebounds".... the way that Bosh "stole" them when he was here... and Reggie after that.

You know it's true.

Your such a Bargnani homer. Bargnani cannot consistently create his own shot. When he tries to he fails at it frequently.

More efficient then he is now or more efficient than a 50% Chris Bosh?

He was over 50% for 2 seasons when he was with us and just missed that again this year in MIA.

His career FG% is actually 49.3%.

EDIT: I think I took you too literally lol.

Where did you see me say any thing about bosh's ability or his past feats. I said Andrea is more important to this team then Bosh is to the heat. I f Bosh was here he would be more important then Andrea, but he's not. Offensively he's the best third option in the league. He could easily be 2nd option on a contender some where else. Andrea is less skilled/ mobile, but he is more important to the raptors.

If Andrea avgs 20 & 6 IMO he should be leading Bosh in voting.

So, with obviously more touches, scoring roughly the same as Bosh, less efficient, 2-3 less rpg on a losing team and you think he should get more votes? In fact 20/6 is pretty much the same shit as last season.

What jeffb said. ^^^

Bargs' would have to take a quantum leap for him to have any chance of getting to the all-star game. He's not getting in as a starter... so he'll have to rely on the coaches to choose him. That's not happening unless he suddenly turns into Dirk (24 + 9) this season and starts flat-out dominating people.

As for the Bosh stuff.... how much more proof do you need beyong how the Heat started last season? When Bosh struggled though the first dozen games or so MIA looked terrible and their record was mediocre at best. Once he picked his game up they were damn-near unbeatable.

Hey I am not say its logical. And i Never said he was making it to all star game. I just think he going to get more votes and also I think Bosh would be relying on the coaches to vote him in as well.

Bargnani's reputation alone will assure Bosh more votes. I think even most in Toronto wouldn't vote for his ass. lol

I think Bosh's reputation may suffer from the same stigma threw out the league.
