The only fact in your post is in the last sentence. The rest is all made up mumbo jumbo.

DRO avg over 20ppg for exactly 1 month, October. Feel free to make a bunch of other stuff up and hope nobody notices because you "made fun jokes"

annnnnnnd Bargs played 10-16 games a month all season except April....for obvious resons.

maybe it was after the allstar break and 19.5 ppg. Either way he still contributed more points than Bargnani did during the span . Probably similar rebounds too all while doing it without making his teamates sick

Considering that the team gives up a lot less points to the other team when he is sitting on the bench, I would say Andrea is the best player to have the coach consider not playing. Considering that he is a big option on offense (and I sure as hell haven't seen any clear indication that his fadeaways from 3ft out make him the main option) it puts a lot of strain on a new coach. A good GM would trade him pronto. At the very least it would mean this thread doesn't recur like a nightmare again next October.

and by the way i may have my stats way wrong but at least throw down some links and prove it to show me how wrong i am. Specially the scouting report where it says "bargnani's man to man is decent" cause then my sack hits the chopping block

It wont next year,

It will be "Are Jonas and Bargs the new twin towers?"

"Bargs number 3 in odds of being MVP"

So have no fear dear.

DeRozan was inconsistent in that he got better every month. Too bad he couldn't have chucked up a shooting percentage under thirty percent for most of Feb.

The stats are from NBA.com... thats pretty easy to do.

"Bargnani's man to man is decent" is opinion. I shall admit that.....

The funny thing when I googled it a post I made about his D being good came up. I guess that makes me the authority on the matter.

Hey I'm not hating on D-Ro.

I want him to be awesome, and hope he is. I love my Raptors. Just think Bargs is going to get it together this year.

And that's different from the last 5 years how? What he lacks goes beyond getting anything together. Otherwise, the fact that it has taken this long to get it together is beyond contemptible. I tend to give him a hell of a lot more credit than that.

If his defense was in any way, shape or form "good", then his team would not get dramatically better defensively when he sits on the bench. No?

Its not different than the last 5. I said that in my first post, thanks for paying attention. Have all the contempt you want when he is averaging 20+ 7+ 1+ and playing solid D.

I prefer to cheer my team. I am willing to start a contemptablecynicspoopooforum.com for you if you would like.

DeMar DeRozan - Toronto Raptors - Split Statistics - NBA - Yahoo! Canada Sports

so i got 18.5ppg in jan, 18.9 feb, 18.7 march and 23.1 april. ok so its not 20 but clearly 19ish, i'm considering myself off the hook.

It was 19.9 after the All-Star game. And the rebounding numbers were pretty good as well.

Again, not hating on D-RO. If he proves to be the man in spite of Bargs great season...this will be wonderful news indeed.

Actually, DeRozan averaged 11.5 PPG in Oct. and 23.1 PPG in April and 19.9 after the All-Star break.

For clarity 19.9 is less than 20
