Lowry will be #1 eventually.

jesus christ jeff must be thinking "why do i bother!?"

it also says "best PG we've ever had" and "most talented" in the first post.

they can all be interpreted in different ways but let's just have a debate on which PG is best instead of arguing over semantics.

let me clarify. damon's hay day was when he was with the raptors.
so, like i said. he's #1 in my books, because he was great in his hay days (during his time with the raptors).

Best as in most talented, are you that much of a knucklehead? And it was established early in this thread that it was about talent

Insider, I'm with ya.

Hell he was fun to watch eh?

Now, if Lowry can pout up a season like his first game... that change everything because I LOVE his tenacity.

If they keep Jose this year, and they rub off on each other...wow.

yup. i dont care what anyone says, i hope we keep jose (dont trade him) and then re-sign him for a cheap/fair contarct next year. jose should retire a raptor. he's the perfect back up.

Completely agree. Of course it will depend on Jose's salary expectations.

I expect BC to feel him out before the deadline and move him if he's looking for a payday, keep him if he has reasonable salary demands (say, 5-6 per year). Swapping Jose and Lowry's salary a couple years from now is pretty sustainable. And Jose's play has always been best in limited backup minutes. He's like Amir that way. Just destroys opposing benches, and has his value limited against more athletic, starting calibre players. Could be a very key vet piece going forward.

i'm all for keeping jose at a reasonable price as a backup, but if there's any chance of using his expiring contract and any of our extra 'talent' to land a quality vet sf, i'd hope all avenues are explored. a backup like jose is a luxury, and we're not in a position where we can afford luxuries.

Plus, hey, you never know - trade Jose for an asset then sign him back for the mid-level next summer! Win-win!

Yep.

I like the way he and Lowry play off one another too when they're on the floor together.

If the actual tenure with the Raptors doesn't matter, than Chauncy Billups and Rod Strickland have to be on the list.
