Best dunker of all time baby!

I can't help but reminisce..... man was this guy dominant. It's been too long and I think Raptor fans have either forgotten how good he was or just never got to really see the things he did.

thought this was going to be a dominque wilkins thread. :face4:

Carter Hands down I think.

Kobe is a sleeper.

MJ, I'm not is biggest fan, but man, he has a reel and a half as well.

tdotballing 09-07-2011 06:26 PM

Definitely Vince Carter. He had the best windmill dunks i've ever seen. So smooth, full extension, full range of motion...just amazing.

'trane 09-07-2011 09:23 PM

we talkin' in-game dunks? 'cause... ummm...

Dark Knight 09-07-2011 09:26 PM

Blake Griffin will be right up there in a few years when it comes to in game...

Toby 09-07-2011 09:31 PM

you know who I got

true. i can't imagine any of kemp, wilkins, mj or drexler telling his fans "i don't wanna dunk anymore".

that doesn't take away from what he could do..... you may not like it, but the guy was incredible. It's sad to see so much negativity being held onto so tightly.

Acie 09-07-2011 10:25 PM

Dr.J was pretty good too.

Hmmm, nobody disputes his great talent. But nobody disputes the fact that he pissed it away and instead of taking his game to another level, after 5-6 great seasons he stopped dunking and settle for 3's, was indifferent on D and alienated fans and teammates everywhere he's played. Ask fans in NJ, Orlando, Phx what they think of ol' Vince. Great, for 5 years he was the best dunker in the game, no question and was a top 5 player no question but his lack of fire, desire and effort on many nights eventually far outweighed his talents imo.
