good to see some polls benzo, I voted the same but in the future, I think Kapono can be more important than any of those two.

Ahhh, that start of another era .... Benzo's first poll at RF.

Pretty easy for me at least. Definitely Delfino and Parker I'd keep. Both can still play great one-on one defense and can light up a scoreboard too. Other positives are they come alot cheaper than Kapono too. Only drawbacks that I've noticed in both Carlos and Anthony is that they've both struggled with consistancy, moreso Delfino. I'd like see more consistancy from them, but realized the majority of the rest of the team are in the same boat too.

Kapono's got such a sweet stroke, but I had we known Moon was going to be as good as he's been, no way Bryan would of gone out to spend the money to bring Jason to Toronto.

As for the poll...i beleive we need all three. They offer different skill sets and while Delfino and Parker have more overlap, AP is not getting any younger and wont' be a starter likely past next season. Kapono is such a unique talent...a specialist shooter and if we can ever figure out how to get him 13-15 shots a game we'd be laughing.

As for Doc's last statement, i'm not sure I agree. Kapono can spread the floor for Bosh and Bargnani to work down low... which being the ultimate goal of BC and something Moon cannot provide I still see him signing Jason. I'm not sure Jason was signed with the idea of being a starter necessarily either... I could be wrong on that one but since Bosh and Bargs(eventually) will be playing with both starters and 2nd unit guys there would be significant opportunity for overlap.

Good point SWAN ... but those are still things that both Parker and Delfino bring to the table too. I mean, morso Parker because his high shot percentage from beyond the arc, but yes Kapono is another excellent tool in speading the offense. But until Bargnani works down low, we can't necessarily apply that theory when Bargs is in because you can tell his comfort level is at the top of the key and not in the post. But that's another story and beside the point.

Anyhow, Kapono is definitely an asset, I just think Delfino and Parker are more valuable because of their flexibility.

Agreed... i think we'll see Kapono's value flesh out a bit more as Bargnani develops into the player BC expects him to(note my open optimism). Right now he's kinda floating along in the system... but once AB gets the whole post offense thing we will hopefully see the BC dream manifest with sparkling results

I'd just say that yes we need all three, and as already said, more for the future than right this moment.

I know Kapono seems to be at the bottom of everyone's list, but i really like him as an acquisition. I thought he was going to be a bit of a one-trick pony on offense and that so far isn't the case. Offensively, he's the most consistent of all three and IMO, just needs to be used more. With TJ coming back, i think the bench in general will return to form. BTW - that teardrop floater of his is pretty sweet.

Personally, i did wote for all three in the pole. We really do need all three of them at the top of their games.

imo, kapono's biggest problem is that he's too good of a 3pt shooter. If he was shooting 42%, teams might gamble on him, but his percentages are too ridiculous, so lately there's always somebody in his face. 50% from 3pt equals 75% from 2pt. Even if we had Tim Duncan, it's more efficient to not double Tim than to leave kapono open ...
