With Wright playing like this, there is no minutes for anyone.

Wright took minutes away from DeRozan, Wright is playing like a monster these days.

Wright & Amir are our best bench players right now. Belinelli will get his chances and will have to take advantage when he does. Otherwise he'll stay on the bench. It's a good problem to have imo. I love the bench we have.

Wright went through the same thing earlier in the year when he was sucking hard. Belinelli has looked horriawful the last few games, looking unsure with the ball and just playing terrible D. He deserved to get benched, this is a wakeup call.

if anyone needs to sit their asses on the pine, im glad its beli... the guy is a chucker, plain and simple. he provides nothing but scoring, and when he's cold, he is REALLY cold.
at least when antoine's cold, he hustles defensively. when marco is cold, he just keeps chucking away and it hurts us bad. he has no conscious and lays brick after brick.

That's a bunch of horseshit. He often turns down open shots i find to give it up to an open player. Last night was a perfect example. He hasn't been playing much and he comes in and gave up the ball to Jose and Amir for two nice assists when he was open. He took 1 shot in 10 minutes. Knowing he hasn't played much lately, a chucker would have come in and forced up shots.

And the guy is 3rd on the team in steals ( a bench player 3rd in steals) and is a pesky defender. So saying he's nothing but a scorer is crazy. I'm not saying he's a lockdown defender by any means, but he works hard on D and is active.

Right now he deserves to be where he is, based on everyone else's play, but i like this kids game for alot more then his offence.

are you saying he isnt a chucker? now thats horseshit.
if you want to go the stats route, he has the worst shooting % on the team at 40%, yet he shoots the 6th most field goal attempts on the team.

he has 100 more shot attempts than wright and weems, and the crazy thing is that both wright and weems have almost the exact same number of made field goals.
if that doesnt scream chucker, i dont know what else there is to say.

I kind of wonder if I'm the only one not so hyped up on Reggie Evan's play. I know he's coming back from injury, and he's not in the best shape, but from what people said. He was supposedly a lock down defender with amazing rebounding ability.
I've seen him grab great rebounds, aggressiveness. but he lacks defense.. or maybe that just goes along with the fact that he's not in shape. Ah well, my point is I think when CB returns, Rasho should cut into Reggie's minutes a lot more.

He's taken 100 more shots then Weems/Wright, and you don't think there are reasons for that. Weems & Wright barely played at all in the first 30 games while Beli was getting 20mpg, sometimes 30 minutes. And has still at this moment played more games then both of them even with his recent lack of minutes, obviously he's taken more shots. He's shooting 38 % from deep (better then Turkoglu and his 10Mil), gets to the line and gets steals. Not only that he's a very good passer.

you say: "Weems & Wright barely played at all in the first 30 games while Beli was getting 20mpg, sometimes 30 minutes. And has still at this moment played more games then both of them even with his recent lack of minutes, obviously he's taken more shots".

i say: "they have relatively the same amount of made baskets".

how do you explain the fact that he has played so much more than them and ("obviously taken more shots"), yet they have about the same amount of made field goals.
the answer - he is a chucker.

Oh well we disagree. I think Beli is alot more then just a shooter and has more to his game then you'd like to admit. We don't agree, that's just the way it is. BTW, out of Beli, Wright, Weems who do you think the first half of the season was asked by the coaches to take shots off the bench?

Beli is a shooter and has a shooters mentality. They are taught to keep shooting even if they are off, and yes it may take away from the team, but thats what they are supposed to do. On the other hand, Im not a big fan of beli and Im glad to see his ass on the bench. BTW, Wright is killing it. Do you guys think we are/should resign him?

Personally I like belli's game, but it just seems wright and weems are more effective lately. Both play well at both end of the floor and they deserve to play those minutes. I hate to see Beli get sidelined, because he is a great player. His jumpshot is his forte, and if he can make that consistent, I think he can be very effective.
