i'm of the belief that you always pick the guy who is more talented no matter what.
People have the capacity to change, to mature. It may or may not happen in time, but it can happen. |

Ironically, Andre Drummond was picked No. 9 with the Detroit Pistons. Ten years ago, BC made a gamble on a high school kid named Amare Stoudemire with the No. 9 pick. An immature kid whose mother was in and out of prison, attended six different high schools in two different states, and whose brother died when he was 12. Phoenix was the only team to pick a high school player in the first round of the 2002 NBA draft. Considering the unstable background and raw potential of Amare, BC took the gamble and won.

True but you would rather have Barnes wouldn't you? He fills the gap at the 3 much better than we need Ross at 2. If we get Barnes here, there isn't a NEED to grab a 3 from another team like there is now. Almost not even close. Barnes is another good piece to the young core.

If Royce White was even considered that would have been a colossal disaster.
Kids a mental case that will never be an NBA player. You don't be a window washer then complain about your fear of heights and expect people to be sympathetic towards you. Same as you don't try to get a job that requires a ton of flying/travelling. |

I have a feeling next year derozan will bulk up enough to play the sf, making room for ross who will come out and have a breakout year in terms of going to the basket. lowry, ross, and derozan, we'll have the best backcourt in the nba! Bargnani will cut down to 5 percent body fat and become the best pf in the league, and JV will finally get some respect from the refs. raps go on to win th championship, sweeping every team in every round
