BC Scouting Gallinari & Beasley

Unless BC's confident we're going to be a lotto team, I don't see why he's scouting them out. Unless .... maybe he a some other ideas in mind in order to trade up come draft time. ;)

Blake said Toronto general manager Bryan Colangelo was at the Sprint Center watching Beasley, but was scheduled to board a morning flight to Italy to see Gallinari, who plays for Armani Milan.

Speaking of Beasley, Big 12 commissioner Dan Beebe handed over the Big 12 Player of the Year award to the freshman prior to tipoff of the Texas A&M-KSU game.

Beasley, accompanied by coach Frank Martin, was introduced to the crowd at center court and given the trophy.

Beasley scored 25 in K-State's loss.

uh, good luck with beasley BC...
miami's got him locked!

MangoKidHoops 03-17-2008 10:35 AM

I don;t know about Gallinari. The kid I want is DeAndre Jordan. That kid is the next Dwight Howard.

MangoKidHoops 03-17-2008 10:45 AM

..Or Nicolas Batum..

If we want a big man with future that is not a high pick. Marc Gasol, would be perfect. He could better than his brother and he is a really tough guy.

memphis has the rights to him.

Batum sounds interesting though... seems like a solid pick.

Hi everyone! :)

Last night BC was in Rome to watch Olimpia Milano (Danilo Gallinari) vs. Virtus Roma (Roko Ukić).

Acie 03-17-2008 12:14 PM

Nice.

Hello praja.

Welcome aboard.

moremilk 03-17-2008 12:45 PM

probably after the last few weeks, Bryan believes that there is an outside chance we miss the playoffs, ergo an outside chance of winning the lottery ... :)

INSIDER 03-17-2008 12:48 PM

hey praja...
nice to see BC is checking out Roko... i wonder what that means in terms of the PG situation... BC knows somethings gonna go down...

goos to hear that he's also checking out Gallinari... the kid sounds interesting...

Acie 03-17-2008 12:52 PM

Praja whos' in your avatar?

I figured it'd be good to know his name since I'm now familiar with what's up his shorts. ;)

I hope they're going to keep Josť, he's such a great pg and I think Roko could be a good back-up.
I like Gallinari, he plays really good for his age.

The MVP of West Hollywood 03-17-2008 01:55 PM

uhhhhh would we have 3 PFs playing trying to fit in one position? :haha:

MangoKidHoops 03-17-2008 02:23 PM

I'm telling you - DeAndre Jordan.

BballWatcher 03-17-2008 11:09 PM

Possible explanation of our recent losing streak? :sigh:

praja 03-22-2008 09:51 AM

Nets GM Kiki Vandeweghe was in Milan to scout Gallinari.
Danilo played a great second half and led hi team to victory.
He scored 28 points (fgm-a 5-9, 3pm-a 3-5) in 36 minutes, 1 assist, 3 rebounds, 3 steals.

Kuzzy 03-22-2008 11:45 AM

Bcs just doing his job.
I seen Beasley ball 4 years ago and he was amazing then, no different now.
as for Gallinari?
ITALIAAAAAA BABEE
and Detlef Schremp is the fucking best.

MangoKidHoops 03-22-2008 01:16 PM

We desperately need a guy like Beasley. The guy is brash, he can score- hits for a good percentage from 3(about 40%) can rebound, and more importantly, he can bring some fire and swagger we desperately need and is a good scoring option to Bosh.
