BC flies back to Toronto for "Urgent Business"

Caught this at the RealGm a few minutes ago and its apparently legit according to the Slovenian source I have linked here. Could there be a trade brewing?

Can any one translate? :(

Something's brewing...

Dr. J. Naismith 02-10-2008 12:56 PM

Yeah, I'm not sure if this emergency is team related or personal. From what I read over at RGM, they're under impression that its something to do with the team.

I've been trying to find Slovenian translators online, but when I copy & paste what's in the article and convert it, it doesn't make any sense. :(

ACIE, you speak Slovenian don't you? I'm sure its as good as your Spanish.:haha:

I can translate. Slovenian is pretty close to Croatian.....

Really? That would be fantastic CG if you could. :)

Claudius 02-10-2008 01:14 PM

Really, all it said was that he was on a scouting trip watching the finals of the Croatian, Serbian and Slovenian leagues. And then goes on to talk about his "history" with the team, his age etc. Nothing really special or something of merit. It does say that he had to go back to Toronto, but doesn't elaborate any further.

Dr. J. Naismith 02-10-2008 01:16 PM

Hmm ... lesson learned. Take what you see at the RealGM with a grain of salt. :(

Thanks anyways CG. Appreciate the translation. :)

BC just got an offer from the CELTICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

D.Martin
for
Rack of basketballs
:)

lang 02-10-2008 10:22 PM

I'm sorry Kuzzy, but I wouldn't do that trade unless they throw in a bag of whistles.

Kuzzy 02-10-2008 10:26 PM

dont forget the gatorade :)

Belsius 02-10-2008 10:26 PM

lol Rack of basketballs+bag of whistels>Martin.

I actually like darrik, cheering on the bench and with a suit on.

Kuzzy 02-10-2008 10:29 PM

overweight cheerleader for 1.5 million ?
SCREW THAT

JattDogg 02-10-2008 10:32 PM

martin is a waste of space...we don need a coach on the bench..we already got coaches....why not use his waste of space on someone like roko or some dleague player....

martin has no positive influence on our team whatsoever when on the court..

a rack of basketballs sounds like a fare deal. gatorade towel too?

Kuzzy 02-10-2008 10:33 PM

and a gatorade towel?
i think we might be asking for a bit to much now.

lang 02-10-2008 10:39 PM

Don't forget that his excessive cheering once cost us a turnover in the playoffs.

Sick, Wicked and Nasty! 02-11-2008 09:26 AM

He probably bet on the Wolves after that Clippers fiasco and had to fly back to change his bet and safe some face.

rapsfan087 02-11-2008 10:01 AM

hmm ... do you know another PG that wanted to be the #3 PG in a team where the other 2 PGs are always playing unless someone is injuried?

And you cannot say Dixon. :D
