BC: "You add up the pieces ... Amir, Sonny, Demar, Davis... It's pretty exciting"

Sounds like Amir is coming back 100% ....

It'd be exciting if it weren't for the fact that none of those guys are projected to be all-stars.

I don't understand why you would draft another PF unless you think Bosh is leaving?

With the 13th pick, you are in reaction mode depending on what other teams ahead of you pick. The Raptors get a top 10 talent player in this draft who will be a long-time starter in this league. Ed Davis plays defense, rebounds, block shots, and has a high basketball IQ. Give him 2 to 3 years and he will the best big man for the Raptors. Great pick for the Raps. How can you go wrong with a player who says his favorite player in the NBA is Chris Bosh.

AFter the top 5, you basically draft the Best Player Available or the player that best fits your system (ie Gordon Hayward for the Jazz). You wanted to reach?

I dunno Bags... I think DeRozan can be Jerry Stack-esque.

He's never shown anything but improvement and he's what....12?

Ya never know brother...

I just wish we would get rid of Bargnani as well, he is pretty valuable if we get a few younger players we can officially be in rebuilding mode.

I was hoping the same thing. Ed Davis should have a mentor to look up to. He should not pick up the same habits of Bargnani. Reluctance to rebound, poor defense rotation, more effort and focus on offense. Trade Bargnani for a young point guard or center.
