I wish he wore a monocle and sipped tea instead of Gatorade on the sidelines.

I'd love him back here as well but only for a 3-4 mil contract. Anything over that would be too much and I'd rather lose him

^^
i personally think 3-4 million is too much, i'd only do a 2 million contract, i mean hump is making like 2ish so i would never give pops a bigger contract that him, 3-4 million is like what i'd give AP to return

I'd be very careful what I'd offer Pops.

He seems to have some serious health concerns.

Id give pops 1 to 1.5. He is worth that as a fifth big.

Offer him 15 mil over 4 years, he looks like he's got potential.
Just throw in a team option and non-guaranteed contract for the second to third years and it'll be problem solved.

Fuck that, too much.

I would never, ever offer more than what Humpmakes.

MAX: 2.5 million over 2 with team option 3rd year

Nobody avging over 6 pts and 6 rebs in <20 min of play in their right mind is gonna take that deal.
(Well, anyone other than Dyess)

I am a stats guy through and through and through, but seriously, if his fg% goes up, his rebounds will go down.

i worry about all of the games he missed to close out the year because of knee issues. looking at how this organization has dealt with any player who's had knee troubles in the past, passing up on Granger and Roy in the draft because of their history makes me think they're not gonna offer him much.
though now that i think of that, the example of jermaine o'neal throws my argument out the window....

anything more than 2 mil is too much, honestly we havn't really seen what kind of player he hasn't even played a full season for the rapz yet. last thing rapz need is another over paid player that can't really do anything significant. we already have one of those- kapono. also if pops really wants to play for the rapz, he should be comfortable with taking a smaller paycheck

Way too much, 1 - 1.5 million max. The cap is going down, salaries are going down, and Rasho is back in town and may get a look. I love Pops' energy, but he's a third or fourth big man in the PF/C positions.

Pops is solid in his role as the first big off the bench. Don't expect Humphries to be much help.

I hope Humpries is gone next year. We don't need 5 bigs coming off the bench. We need to fill other holes first
