Hmmm .... would anyone agree with this guy's comment regarding Bosh?

Gasol was given away...

I'm pretty sure were not going to give Bosh away for next to nothing...& Gasol didn't get any better in LA he just looks like he is better cause he is on a championship squad..

If Toronto made it to the finals or some how won it what would it matter?

People never knew how good Gasol was while he was in Memphis? If someone makes an assessment like that, they're not a true basketball fan.

Gasol is NOT a 4-time all-star. He was an all star in 2006 and in 2009.

Unless you're talking about people who don't really watch basketball, the only people on that list I'd classify as underrated are Kevin Martin and Kendrick Perkins. I'd say Joe Johnson is one of my more overrated players in the league.

"The Basketball Junkie" should know that basketball junkies are all aware of how good these guys are.

...as for Bosh/Gasol. It's a good comparison, as they've both been great players on relatively unsuccessful teams. It doesn't mean Bosh needs to get out of here, it means he needs better players around him.

Look at the rest of the team.. He thinks Carmelo and Devin Harris and Kendrick Perkins are underrated too. That all-NBA underrated team of his would be an instant contender and everybody would know it, they're hardly underrated to me.

Carmelo is underrated cuz he has only been an all star twice; he was snubbed last all star game for guys like David West. Melo is underrated. Devin Harris isn't cuz he was already an all star and the nets wouldn't have traded for him if they didnt kno who he was. Not sure about Perkins.

Melo is underrated.

Check any gamethread here at raptorforum or any other raptor website from the past season, and it's easy to see that Bosh is definitely underrated and unappreciated.

I haven't met someone who watches b ball that doesn't know Bosh
people know Gasol b/c he plays for the Lakers, sort of like how many people knew Rick Fox even though he wasn't a great player

Melo is underrated.
I read what he said about him, he mentioned it too. Maybe he should have been all-star once more or West is overrated idk, but Melo is considered a big star none-the-less. I would rather say he's overrated than underrated, considering his sometimes horrible defense and the fact that I don't think he is a great team captain (yet).

Perkins is just young but he's a pretty allround center. Maybe he is a tad underrated but that's probably because he's overshadowed by all the other stars on the Celtics.

It seems just like yesterday that someone here suggested David Lee + scrub for Bosh. Oh wait - it was!

With the type of team BC is creating I don't think this is the right time to leave TO for Bosh. If I was Bosh and I saw all the time and effort BC is using to create a team around Bosh I would stat
