it is time we faced the reality that again, a star will screw us and walk leaving us nothing... that is just the norm for this organization. so, this thread is stupid, and do we really need another thread about what someone with NO connection to this organization thinks?

i think that LeBron wants to play the next 10 years in TO, should i start a thread on that? sigh...

or maybe, takman, you could thank bigmac for being kind enough to provide us with video after video of raps-related materials time and time again. you can start whining about the quality when you provide us with non-stop content that our members sign up to this site to get the benifit of.

you are right 'trane, sorry, i am letting my frustration with this team seep out a bit!

i do appreciate the information that i gain here, i will try to be more supportive of the guys/gals who do work hard to get us good stuff!

i watched court surfing with the tv on mute as i was laying hardwood in my bedroom last night! sorry i missed that, i think a lot of people here are feeling the same thing these guys are, he wants to play for a winner, and the group of guys he has around him are NOT going to get him there.

thanks bigmac

guy... what the fuck are you talking about??

If Bosh walks he's not screwing us over at all, we're the ones that screwed him and his all-star talent by building horribly around him

you are 100% correct, the organization has done this to itself, they had 5 years to surround Bosh with real talent, and they failed, so, time to start figuring out who we bring in next....

'trane, with the change between JJ and Jose happening, and Joe Johnson not playing tonight, do you think there is enough of a difference on the floor with Jose in the starting rotation to give Hedo and Bargs the lift that this team needs? Bosh CAN'T do it all, and the other 4 guys seem to play the first period well, then drift the rest of the game. Will Jose bring the energy these guys need to put us back on the winning path?

it's true. The Raptors are soooo shitty. and the team has like zero good players on it other than Bosh.

We only managed to win some of the games against the Lakers, Orlando Magic, Cleveland Lebrons, Spurs and not every game. This team was awful in January and February even though they were winning a lot of the games.

Blow up and rebuild.

Regardless of who is getting/giving the screw, this is yet another opinion on the CB4 situation. It's an easy one to have during this tough road.

What if the Raps go into the playoffs and give Clev a run (like they have all year) and take them to seven games? Does CB4 stay?

My point is that CB4 will not make his decision on a two week sample of games. He's too smart for that.

My opinion? CB doesnt even know where he will be next year.

So everyone can stop speculating.

PS. TBJ were spos to be on Court Surfing...they put them in another room! WTF??!?!? I wanted them to run the thing and talk through out. bah.

fancylad, all those wins you have listed we wasted as we have seen this team lose to the Kings, the Warriors and struggle against teams like the 'wolves who the suns beat dropping 152 points on them last night, a Suns team we lost to by 1 point! the team has the talent to win games, but has no heart to play hard night after night and a team that seemingly has lost its desire to play defense. I still think this team has a lot of talent, but has no heart, and you can't win in this league without heart! i watched the Bulls game last night and they almost won with their 2nd lineup with rose and noah out... they showed heart, while we get Bosh back and forget how to play at both ends of the floor, there is something wrong there....

i won't lie and say i'm not furius at how this team has played the last few weeks. i'm appaulled dude, i really am.

However, i also won't get all reactionary and look to start over when the team has proven they can win ball games. The winning strategy was there, so they'll just have to find it yet again.

I just don't for the life of me understand how some people (yourself included) say that Toronto hasn't tried to build a good team around Bosh. I'd say they have built a good team (from a talent perspective) and Colangelo has certainly tried.

guys just because we beat good teams like the lakers and mavs when they had an off night doesn't mean we're a good team. nj beat boston for god sakes, it just means they had a bad night. The contenders all have 2-3 players that are top notch, we have one. We're very lucky to have him at that

You're right Raptorman I should stop speculation the road ahead and just focus on the game at hand?; we still have Bosh now and we need him to stop being sloppy with the ball. During the 5 game losing streak I kinda flipped and couldn't even sleep because i'm too piss off; I wonder if I have become apart of hardcore raptor fan? anyways I do not care if Bosh leave or not in the summer but I only care if the Raps make it to the play off and like Raptorman said during this season the Raptor has play equally with the Cavs and to even overtime; I think they'll manage even if it's the cavs. I do wonder how they'll do today against Alanta; the last 2 game was a sweep for Alanta but the Raptor play good against tough team and Alanta is a back to back game against 2 day rest Raptor at home.

I'd bet on nj over boston at home based on the last month or so

Bosh is not leaving.

I am willing to put money down. Colangelo is not stupid, and as much as we don't want to admit it, he put together a good team. Sometimes things don't work out, live with it. When the team is down everyone kicks them, and points fingers. This is professional sports, players are human. Things will get better. If not this season, then next season. If there is any GM in the league that I would trust to put my team together because I know they have the smarts and work ethic, that is Colangelo.

So please, look at what Bosh is leaving behind if he leaves. Money, the face of a franchise, all the work he has put in here and all of the friends and connections I'm sure he has made.

Bosh is not leaving.

Sure, he's tried... but he's done a piss poor job of assembling the PROPER talent around Bosh.

It's not about going out and grabbing a bunch of scorers that can run & gun all game long....

... it's about assembling pieces of a team that work together as a unit.... and I'm just not sure that he's done that.

Having almost $30M tied into 2 players that play absolutely NO defense and 1 more who only plays it when he feels like it is very, very disappointing.... and makes it damn near impossible to trade them if you decide you DO want to make changes.

So now Bosh has talent, but wait, he doesn't have the right talent?

So, faced with this question, I want to see, starting in 2006 when BC first came here, what would be the moves you guys would make knowing the cap restrictions and the players available then.

I'm entirely curious right now because all I'm seeing is a lot of defence of CB4 and while he's had a great season he's just as culpable right now in this mess of a team.

hay if Bosh leaves it might not be the worst thing that happens

maybe bringing it more quality guys, we could bring 3 guys for hte price of Bosh and try to win the way ATL does or detroit in the past

obviously I would prefer to sign Bosh but if it happens we do have options
