Baron Davis wanted to confront Jose after knicks loss

Apparently Baron Davis and Jose Calderon nearly got into an altercation after the game. Remember, the Air Canada Centre has a strange dynamic where both teams exit through the same tunnel. Apparently Davis and Calderon collided toward the end of the game and Davis apparently felt that Calderon tried to grab him around the head, so he was waiting for the Raptors point guard in the tunnel after the game. However, Tyson Chandler held Davis back, preventing him from getting into any trouble with the league... Give the big man an assist.

James johnson > all

I thought they were friendly with each other, but I think this is the second time they've almost had it out.

Adrenalin is a hell of a drug

Calderon is probably one of the most soft spoken, mild mannered guys in the whole league.

LX 03-26-2012 03:29 PM

Jose's been anything but soft-spoken in the last couple of games. He's been incredibly pumped up, and arguing every little thing that happened.

And yet he hasn't backed down from anyone, as witnessed by his reaction to KG's punk-ass taunting. :yeah:

Go Jose!

Superjudge 03-26-2012 06:12 PM

Jose would do just fine in any "altercation", and to be honest, I like baron davis, but his anger is coming from someplace else entirely and really, he doesn't need to take it out on Jose Calderon....he should maybe direct it at a few of his teammates, or his agent.

Push comes to shove though, Baron takes a swing at Jose in a corridor and Shinobi Raptor will appear from a cloud of smoke and kick his head off.....in silence of course, Ninja's don' tlike to make a scene.

The soft-spoken ones are always the toughest.*

(*may not be fact)

Superjudge 03-26-2012 06:24 PM

likely isn't. im soft spoken when im out. I'm not tough.

You're not tough or soft-spoken.

But you can be Jose's backup. Be his shit-talker. Team Jose will allow this.

Superjudge 03-26-2012 06:37 PM

thanks, but I'm pretty soft spoken, been told that my entire life.

I would've like to to see Baron try and pull anything, only for James Johnson to hip toss his overweight ass.

baron davis probably just felt something on his body he's never felt before because he usually has layers of fat cushioning his body, this is probably the first year he's been in shape ever

Blaze 03-26-2012 11:15 PM

Forget Jose I want to see James Johnson fight, 6-8 undefeated black belt.

Dutches 03-27-2012 01:05 AM

I would never call Jose "Soft Spoken". That guy is ALWAYS talking, and he really doesn't take much shit, even if his D may not always say that.

Toby 03-27-2012 02:47 AM

Baron Davis needs to pick on a guy his own size, like Felton.
