![]() Not sure how rivers will fit with raps, unless we ship DD out (maybe we can trade DD for #10?)
I'd like for us to pick Lillard, but he might go to Blazers at 6. Maybe Sac's #5 for #8 and Calderon? I think they need a vet and Calderon wouldn't be a bad fit for them, plus they had success with a guy like Beno Udrih |

![]() Rivers is a smart high iq player who will win over alot of teams in interviews and just the way he handles himself. I can see him shooting up the draft board in a few weeks.

![]() Barnes would have to fall for the raps to get him. Lillard, although solid, is only 2 years younger than JB, is being drafted in 2012 while JB was drafted in 2008. Currently Rivers is a reach at 8th and the guy is not a PG, he's a SG.

![]() i think rivers is a perfect fit for this team. his measurements (height/reach) prove to be fine for the off-guard spot. we currently don't have anyone who can consistently breakdown the defence and penetrate the way rivers has shown in college.
his defence wasn't great, but it definitely wasn't horrible. from the games that i watched, he was fairly active on the defensive end. |

![]() ![]() I suggested Rivers before and got lamb-asted. HAHAHAHA seriously, Lamb is alright. I've actually been more and more impressed with Lillard tbh. Still, I'd rather go after Evans / #5 with DD/Ed/#8 and draft Barnes. Or you can take that new found #5 pick and flip that with JC for AI. Philly gets a replacement and relief and we get our defensive young vet. This damn board has broken me and I'm kinda seeing the logic of having Nash (your Alpha Male) for 3 years or let AI be that alpha and go after Goran. Goran and/or Nash, Evans, AI, Bargs , JV - a year or 2 would be a very good and imho a winning, exciting to watch and fan's wet dream team. And as I acknowledge other posters here with this...nothing attracts free agents more than a winning team - in comes a pg to complete the transformation - unless Goran turns out to that guy then life is awesome in TO.
