Default Bargs doesn't move without the ball

I was screaming at him all game but he still refuses to move his ass. Either cut to the ball or set a pic to free someone else up, don't just stand there and watch like a big lump, he looked very Shawn Bradley-esque for most of the game :/

Maybe instead of wanting to move without the ball, he wanted to smash the guy in the stands yelling at him. Honestly who's the professional, him or you?
He's still young so chill.

What's funny is Bargs was actually doing those things if you watched the game.

Again, damned if you do and damned if you don't when it comes to Bargs and what he brings to the game.

I don't know why people are so hard on Bargs. He's having a good season and is doing everything he has been asked to do. Remember, you don't necessarily want Bargs running all over the place. He's a 7-footer. The dude would be spent by the 3rd quarter if he has to cut everywhere to create opportunities for himself. He's not Rip Hamilton, so take it easy.

agreed.

Not to mention that i thought Bargs did a fine job of putting himself into good position yesterday. His off the ball play doesn't really concern me.

the guy is a 7 footer who was used to parking at the 3pt line for most of his NBA career... then he's told to play in the paint as a C... now he's being thrown into the SF posuition where he needs to move around.
what do you expect?
he's been pushed all over the court, let him get used to his new role and work out the kinks.

I see more creativity from Bargnani, and more "just p[laying ball and making plays" from Bargnani then I do Bosh for cryinh out loud, how can a dude rip him?

He is option #765467 on this team and still gets his numbers. He makes great and clever passes, and he ALWAYS gets open in th epaint rerely getting the ball (earth to Jose, open your eyes).

Bargnani is a unique player. He can sit at the 3pt line and be effective within the Raptors offense. I totally agree that he should be posting up more but he isn't a motion type player (see rip hamilton). Guys like Moon /Parker / Soloman should be the player that move without the ball. Bargnani is a 7 footer he should be assigned a position and either play off an ISO being it a post up or even on a man to man (remember that ankle breaker he did against philly with evans).

Now I ask you isn't it the coaching staff that should be running a play for Bargs or telling him how to post up? I get so frustrated when he plays away from the bucket too much. Bargnani has soft hand and good timing around the bucket and the Raps need that kind of play out of him.
