I did the same comparison with aldridge at the beginning of the season, when he was playing well. Over the past 5 games he shot 60% from 3, if he continues to shoot like that, then he would be 2x better than Aldridge. But nobody shoots 60%, so it's only natural that there will be a 3-4 games stretch soon where he will shoot 15% to compensate. The trick is, during that stretch, will he be able to score in other ways to make up for it (at least partially)?

I like Andrea not for his 3s which are awesome but specially for his defense ... It looks like attending the big man camp last summer really helped him to defend effectively other bigs. He gets more blocks, more rebounds and doing the little things without getting in foul trouble in less than 5 minutes. If he keeps developing like this, by next year he CAN be a game changer and live up to (our) expectations.

I think a fair assessment would be to compare his season numbers with LaMarcus'. Not to mention they have a winning record and we don't!

Really good point, whats going to happen when the 3s not falling? If you actually check from all the spots hes scored from its been either from midrange or behind the arc 90% of the time(approx.). Its great that hes making his long range shots but no one in the NBA can do that every game, especially not bargs... go through his game logs and you will know what i mean. Also he still hasn't shown me a solid post game either and his awareness down low is weak, he either bricks the shot or loses the ball to a smaller player often. But with all that said, I still appreciate the impact hes had lately and those clutch 3s hes been hitting in his last 5 games played.

I know ppl are excited because he has played good lately, but you cant say this proves anything yet, like i said, when his 3 isnt dropping, lets see what happens, im hoping he will look for other ways to impact the game, but history so far has shown, he slumps his shoulders and gives up, maybe he is turning a new leaf, but for now, im still a bit skeptical, until he is getting more inside points and FTs. His effort on D has been great lately, but when his O gets going it always is, sometimes when its not going, he disappears, a number 1 overall pick is a bust to me if he isnt an impact player, you dont get picked number 1 to come off the bench imo.
