A guy who when a young prospect was having career games off the bench in 20 minutes off the bench the coach continued to play because he could "space the floor" and would only contribute on offense and not even do that efficiently. Yup, pathetic.

Tommy Beer ‏@TommyBeer 2m

Last season, Andrea Bargnani became the first 7-footer in NBA history to average more than 28 minutes yet fewer than 4 rebounds per game

I'm happy for Bargani. Hope he has a chip on his shoulder and lights it up for NY.

We play them 4 times next year, and he'll be a beast. But there are a lot of players on our team, that will have chips on the their shoulder's from having to endure Bargnani as a team-mate. You go Bargnani- light it up for NY- you can't screw us over any more.

I supported Bargnani for most of his time here, he was always the symbol of our hopes. It worked out miserably for us, but I still wish him good luck in NYK. I'm not terribly concerned about him coming back to haunt us, but I do think he will have his best years in NYK.

Let's put it like this, if this doesn't motivate him, nothing will and he will go the way of Darko ... he's also approaching his contract year. His best season came just when he needed that extension, so chances are he will apply himself more. Otherwise, NY will eat him alive
