Bargnani playing hurt

This may explain his play last night. Good thing the Raps are off until sunday night.

Quote:
Raptors coach Jay Triano said before the game that C Andrea Bargnani hurt his foot in the closing seconds of Toronto's victory over Miami on Wednesday night. But Triano didn't specify which foot, and Bargnani started against New York.

He could shoot straight...he just couldn't get the ball over the front of the rim.

Armstrong was saying that, but it was about the team as a whole and going for it late and going all out, because they have the next few days off and don't play until sunday. In other words put it all on the line and get the win.

Like jeffb just mentioned, I think Jack was saying to the whole team that you aren't playing until Sunday, so leave it all on the floor.

Bargs can rest up the next few days and go on on Sunday, hope it's nothing serious.

It was sad to see him struggle last night after the game he had against the Knicks a few weeks ago but everyone has a bad night.

Poor choice of words.

Was Bosh not covering Lee and Andrea not covering Harrington?

apparently it's an ankle, hopefully it's nothing serious
I'm surprised they played him, it must be a very minor issue
I still think he was very tired, he started the game very well, got inside, shown some nifty passes out of double teams (surprised there wasn't more chatter about how the Knicks doubled him everytime he got inside), and he had a few very easy shots that hit front rim.

In the 2nd half it was worse though, he was clearly unable to drive or get deep in the post, so it was either tired legs or the injury (or both).
