16 pts? You forgot the part where he's taking 15 shots to get that.

Worse PPG since his 3rd season when he averaged 15.4ppg playing next to Bosh. He's also taking 15 shots to do it and shooting his 2nd worst FG% in his career. Add to that, his worst RPG average since 2007 (which is really saying something ) and you have a putrid season. And his Defense is mostly atrocious.

Andrea Bargnani at 27yrs old is only regressing in every conceivable category while also giving us awful defense and effort. At his age he should be in his prime not going backwards.

Yep, it's time to sell. Sell responsbily though.

First, see if they're are any takers for our bad contracts or package them in a larger trade. Try to get an expiring and/or pick. With Amir, aim for Chandler.

Landry Fields 6.25 million
Kleiza 4.6 million
Gray 2.7 million
Amir 6.8 million

Try to move Calderon. His value will go up in the next 5 games if he puts up those numbers and he's healthy. He needs to go as he's leaving us for sure. As long as we don't take a fucked up contract in return, we should try to get something of value for him. Be it a pick or a prospect.

Trade Bargnani. If we're not getting a fair return we may have to keep him. I think we should be able to get a decent pick and prospect.

Call me crazy. But I think Ed is going to take over the team during this stretch. Boy did he look good tonight. I could see him putting up 18pts+ consistently while Lowry is injured. The thing I liked about him the most this game is how smooth he looked. I forgot how natural and mistake-free a player he seemed a rookie, he's really seeming to bring that back this year. And making some nice passes showed his vision

One thing about the Raptor is that advanced stats has usually done a better job than management or the fans at identifying the great players. Demar and Bargs have always had crappy PER and WS numbers and they were cast off in favor of "look at their ppg!". Well Davis should be over 20 PER after tonight with 400 MP. That's not insignificant. Ed was 43rd in the league in PER before this game. That ranks ahead of Al Horford, Stephen Curry, Paul Millsap, Jrue Holiday, Deron Williams. Ed has been legitimately productive this year and the first game he got a ton of minutes, he actually thrived instead of shrunk

If Ed can keep up his offensive game he has a chance to be a legitimate starting PF. This is important because we have much less actual starting players than BC sells. Demar and Bargnani are not starting caliber players. Only Lowry is really starting caliber and Valanciunas has a chance to be.

This injury is the biggest cover up since the robo call scandal.

Ed Davis provides you a defensive presence, shot-blocking, rebounds, points, high field goal efficiency, and inside scoring. That's all good, but the real question and most important factor is does he provide you SPACING?

davis has improved immensely this summer, his shooting is miles ahead and he appears to be much stronger too. But that aside, he's going to struggle offensively as a starter. Last night he made all jumpers, all FTs and got a ton of dunks and layups in the first half when their defense was lax. Once the game got harder, points were much harder to come by for him. And that's without other teams focusing on him too much, if he's going to start full time, he'll get a lot more attention.

I predict Davis will average about 12/9, if the gets 30+ minutes, which is not a given once Amir comes back.

Mike James average 20PPG one year. I still wouldn't want him walking through my team doors.

Give me enough shots and I could average 16PPG in a good rec league!

Mike James was actually one of the better players in the NBA at his position that year.... something that Bargs has never been able to say.

People mock him a lot but the dude was sick on the P & R with Bosh.
