Raptors Bargnani officially done for the season

The worst season of Andrea Bargnani’s NBA career keeps getting worse.

The enigmatic Raptors big man is hurt again, and did not travel with the team for their game in Boston on Wednesday night amid concerns his season could very well be over.

A fitting end to his season; Trying to stop a guard on the pick and roll, the guard simply exploding through his arm on the way to the hoop for an easy basket.

This is great for Jonas' development, but bad because it lowers the probability of moving him in the offseason, and we know theres almost no chance he gets amnestied due to public perception. I dont know if the positive outweighs the negative, but hopefully Jonas continues to play well and develop over the next month and a bit, and it speeds up his development going into year 2.

Lets call it correctly. He didnt "play" this season. He put on his jersey and collected a paycheck.

So there's a good chance that Bryan and Stumbles might be back next year? Brutal.

Honestly, package him with next year's first rounder and unload him in a salary dump that brings a solid bench piece our way. Then amnesty Kleiza and sign Paul Millsap or Josh Smith (if Millsap signs elsewhere) to a huge contract! That's what a win now team does.

The Toronto Raptors announced Wednesday that forward Andrea Bargnani is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the 2012-13 season with an avulsion sprain of the right elbow. This injury is not related to his previous right elbow injury that sidelined him for 26 games (December 12 – February 3).

I'm telling y'all this is bad news for Toronto my favourite city to visit, that guy Bargnani would be the next Dirk Nowitzki if he wasn't hurt.

Great day for Raptors basketball.
I don't care how long he remains with the Raps as long as he stays away from the team.

Never heard of an Avulsion sprain...Weird

Even more interesting that it's not related to the previous injury
