Default Bargnani Must Play Big !

For a big guy man," 7 footer " he gets alot of shots blocked. He seems to be attacking the basket alittle more but he tries to finish to cute. Why is it that the coaching staff can't get him to lead with his big body therefore protecting the ball and drawing more fouls. A guy that size that can move should be unstopable when driving to the basket. Any thoughts ?

well, he's a 7 footer, but lacking in physical presence. Not exactly Shaq / Sam Dalembert / Dwight Howard in terms of physique. so in a way, his finesse play close to the basket is all he can when he's up against physically stronger defenders.

If his body fills out more, then i would agree with you. But now, he's just doing what his body lets him.

None whatsoever ..... guessing which Andrea shows up is a crapshoot. There's no doubt he has the ability to contribute, but there isn't anything I can think of that's going to help him right now. Just keep slugging away and hope for the best I guess.

That might be what is causing his slump. Forcing him to play big.

Maybe he's a 7 ft Two-guard?

Ugh ... if we fear him getting abused by big men, just think what the quicker SG & SF's will do to Andrea.

He's big enough. Rebounding is about effort and smarts something he needs to be more consistent with.
