Andrea says that the franchaise has not been a positive season...finished too far away from the playoffs...admits that the speech made by Colangelo is very unhappy about him...who argues that il mago should give more...Andrea concludes that sits well in Toronto but if were to change city would prefer a warm temperature...smiles...;)

AP we miss you!!!!!!!!!!! 05-22-2011 02:28 PM

Oh I agree. Bargs to Minnesota for Webster/2012 pick as the team will have Williams/Beasley/Webster/Hayward after the draft. Raps should then draft Jonas at #5. This would give the Raps 2 picks in next's years draft to replace/back-up the pg and sg positions

Bayless/JC
DD/Barbosa
Webster/JJ/Wright
Davis/Amir/Evans
Jonas/Dorsey/Alabi

Funny I was thinking the exact same thing. I hope he enjoys that warm weather. :reporter:

i hope he knows that outside of toronto there are 0 lucrative pasta endorsement opportunities. he truly takes for granted what he has here.

Bankiz 05-22-2011 05:27 PM

at leasr now it's clear it want out !

good point for us !

Bc could work is magic to bring us some pieces !

Rimpianto 05-22-2011 05:44 PM

I've watched it on TV, he was one of the commentators for game 2 mavs\Okl (nice to hear him talk about Dirk).
Anyway, he said that he accepts the critics BC has made about him because everybody were expecting much from him although he thinks were a bit hars and about this he stated he wants to stay in Toronto but if they are going to trade him he can only hope for a warmer place.
So no, he doesn't want out. Sorry to stop another bashing ;)

oh sure - if Bargnani says he doesn't like the cold weather then it's all sweetness and light.:p

forme123 05-23-2011 12:36 AM

is this interview even worth analyzing?

Lol I think most don't like TO weather. Don't think there's a hidden message there.

rapsmannn 05-23-2011 05:34 AM

i'm pretty sure he wants to stay in toronto, but obviously he gets the sense that everyone wants him out, the only people keeping bargs in town is BC

i would much rather play in houston than minnesota who wouldn't

i think it would be hard to trade a 20 ppg born scorer, just like what mark jackson says on espn, Ill take better offense over better defense any day of the week

we just need better defensive schemes, and a coach thats will to focus on that end of the ball,

just look at what spoelstra has done with bosh, he transformed him inside a year, in the beginning of hte year everyone was shocked on how bad defensively bosh was, now you watch him in the playoffs the guy is playing top notch defensive, his rotations are amazing, plus rotating back to the bigs after helping on rose

Aamir 05-23-2011 05:38 AM

We need an Oakley.

Or atleast a Barkley. :chuck:

Whatever happened to Alvin Williams? I always saw him on the sidelines of games, but I never hear of him working with anyone specifically or hearing his name at all in the media like sometimes with other assistants. Didn't he used to play good D?

archie63 05-23-2011 05:39 AM

Maybe i'm in late:
First of all he said nobody was happy on the team 'cause they were not even near the playoff. then he said BC made some hars comments about him but he can understand the reasons why they were made and he's ready to accept it 'cause he was the n 1 guy entering the season. He said he's fine being in Toronto and he has no problems in staying, but if the organization decides to trade him he's fine and, if that's the case (jockingly) said he would prefers a warmer destinations.
About the italian commentator (Flavio Tranquillo) he was asked if it was time to watch at a map to find a warm place were Bargs could go, and he answered that it's not time to watch the map 'cause is not that simple,a trade it's not about a franchise willing to send a player somewhere to get a player they like, is much more complicated and even more complicated now that a lockuot is in the air. But He underlined the fact tha BC called Bargs an "asset" and not a "player" meaning "something" valuable even in an economic way (something that can be used on the market).
