I like win win situations, ease him back to the lineup, the tank still has movement with him out. There's no need to rush him back. More minutes for ED, which hopefully he uses wisely.

Cool. Interesting to see how he fits back into the fold. Hopefully he lasts longer than 2 games this time.

Wait nevermind, he would start

Edit, he will participate in shootaround and be evaluated then.

I thought Bargs looked OK last night.

His shot wasn't falling, and he seemed reluctant to be involved in the offense at times, but otherwise he looked OK.

He moved well on defense, and he actually seems to have lost a little weight. If he's playing PF, I actually think it's to his benefit to be leaner and quicker. Either way it didn't look like he was hobbling around out there.

And he had some nice drives to go inside on offense. Even if he missed some shots and wasnt the kind of force on offense he needs to be when healthy, I thought he looked pretty good.

Bargnani said the calf was hurting him before the game and got a bit worse as it went on so he shut it down.

They will get it looked at and go from there, but he said it is not at all like the major injury he suffered earlier in the year pain-wise

Coaching staff needs to shut him down for the season, let him heal up fully and then get ready for off-season training

shut him down...no point pushing him and risking long-term damage (if it's not already at that stage) when the season is lost already. the positive effect it should have on the tank is just a bonus

This.

Day to Day with two weeks remaining in the season? What's the point?

If we go on a loosing streak we could easily end up with a 4-5th worst record. Looking at our schedule that seems to be very possible.

Playing through an injury might be a good thing for Bargs.

Coach Dwane Casey has already hinted that Bargnani could be done for the season and the team's beat writers all suspect he'll sit out the final eight games. The medical staff figures to make some kind of announcement prior to Wednesday's game against the Sixers. Bargnani has sustained three separate left calf injuries this season, crippling a career-best campaign

Full steam on the tank I guess. Might as well at this point in the season.
