I think it's realistic to assume we will only miss AB for another 2 games. They play Charlotte on Friday, then 5 days till Pistons on Wednesday. That's followed by the allstar break, with them playing at Houston on 28th.

I would circle the 28th as a distinct possibility for a return game.

Then we move up in the standings to 9th! Ya!

and he'll continue to be out for as long as we're losing games by 3-5 points ...
today was an especially good day with most of our competition winning. It's actually plausible we could fight for the 2nd place which would be really nice.

at some point it will be difficult to keep him out without really looking suspicious, so we'll probably see andrea for another 10 games until he will suffer another random pull/strain that will keep him out until the end of the season

Casey has got to realize you can't play your # 1 scoring option coming back from injury
(who isn't exactly an athletic freak/iron man, etc) for 40 mins in a back to back set. Also, Jose should be maxed out at 30 mins/game once JB returns. He's currently at 33.8 mins/game minus the SAS game.

Yup. I was really curious as to why andrea was playing max mins when he just returned from injury. Even though he picked up where he left off, casey should be smarter and think of the long run, more than burning his best players (including jose) for a better chance at one or two games.

In all reality, I have no desire to see Bargnani to lose all the momentum he built this year to injury. He needs to be back healthy and playing ASAP.

Last year, with Triano let's play no defense and rebounding, and being the team's no. 1 option, Bargnani missed 16 games. With Casey and his accountability on defense, Bargnani has already missed 18 games (and counting). Durability issues with Bargnani is a going concern for the future.

No. Its a well-known medical fact that Triano ball requires no calf muscles. Show me a quote from respectable medical professional that says otherwise.

Seriously. Injuries like that happen no matter the style of play or effort. Even the best conditioned athletes get injured every now and then even if they are not playing huge minutes. And you cant claim that Bargs has been injury prone.

I like that word, TRIANO BALL. Little use of muscle and hustle with TRIANO BALL. TRIANO BALL is like an all-star game, all offense and no defense. Not too many players get injured in all-star game or TRIANO BALL.

Coughing up a 4 point lead with over a minute left, then getting a 5 second violation is losing with dignity?

Coughing up a 9 point lead and one time 17 point lead vs the Knicks is losing with Dignity?

Ya sure, ever see triano play ball?

Im sure he wanted them to play that way, ytou guys all give casey the nod, but nobody cares that half the roster changed, gritty hard working guys brought in, and a free reign to go after Bargnani after the gm called him out all summer was in place for him.

I really dont give a shit about either coach, but honestly, if you're gonna critique a coach, thnk about it first.

A loss is a loss. However Losing with Embarrassment is getting killed by 30 or 40 points a night or getting lit up by a player for 81 points. The team is putting it together defensively, but needs to upgrade its personnel for next season. The team is competitive even though we have lost key personel for a major part of the season.

If you take away the results, Raptors having the worst defensive efficiency in NBA history the last two years under Triano to a team in the top 9 for opponent FG% and Top 3 in opponent FG made with Casey, the team has made major strides defensively. Just like last year, Derozan and Calderon are still getting major minutes. You think Triano would properly utilize players in their twlight years such as Magloire, Anthony Carter, Butler. Casey has a game plan and the defensive pedigree with such teams Seattle (Payton & Kemp-4 divisional titles), Minnesota, and Dallas (NBA Title).

Unlikely, but right after the allstar break might happen. So we could see him on the 28th.
