Man - I'm blogging nothing but dashes and dots from now on.

I really fell for Bargnani last night. That's the guy I imagined when they drafted him. Now if he could hit half the shots that Murphy did.........

Not to take anything from his rebounding effort but many ball bounces just fell into him. However, I wasn't happy with his defense on Murphy - the guy killed us with his 16 points from the parameter and 17 rebounds.
Still, love Bargs' effort this year vs. the last year - he seems to constantly looks for ways to improve his game. His shooting slumps are shorter than before and now he compensates them with rebounds and blocks.

He's need to add a post game and get into better shape. He seems too tired to guard guys on the perimeter. Bargs will be an awesome power forward. I wouldn't mind pairing his talent with Bynum. And if we manage to get our hands on ellis.... and a decent shooting guard, we're top 4 in the east, or better than Orlando.

Ellis/Jack/Banks
????/Derozan/Beli
Turk/Radman/weems
Bargs/Evans/Amir
Bynum/Rasho/pob

we set ourselves up with a lot of expirings for the next year. That's when the shooting guards are available. Jamal Crawford, Johns Salmons, Josh Howard, JR Smith, Jason Richardson, Richard Jefferson, Caron Butler, Azibuke, Nick Young(up and coming), even Kevin Durant(okc will definitely match the contract.) Don't forget melo can opt out, and so can pietrus.

All these guys are upgrades on Derozan starting. We wont have to worry about Bosh's rebounds, Bynum and Bargs will get em. Ellis will definitely get to the line and will definitely takeover games. With a decent 2 our team will be a well balanced contender. (depends if Bargs evolves to Nowitzki)

ya that would be a good line-up, I never saw this bynum trade rumour coming, and I think it is still a rumour, I dont think the lakers would mess with their team when they are so dominant already. I would do the trade, decent value for him, good defensive center to pair with bargs, may get a toss in or two. but then again I'm sure right now BC is talking to a number of teams, playing his cards right, letting people talk and being quiet.

evans and amir can play center, they have the strength and/or athleticism to compete against most teams centers.

If Bargs is ever given free reign to be the "main man" the way his development is going he is gonna be an absolute stud.

And remember:
5 year project.

We are in year 4.

bosh was defending murphy in the 1st quarter, Bargnani was on hibbert.
Murphy scored most of his points in the 1st, I think he had 5 points the rest of the game.
