Hahhhh!

Can Bargnani be a good fit for a contender right now? can a contender team trade for Andrea before deadline?

He would thrive in a Ryan Anderson type role. Lakers brass is considering shipping Pau and Fisher to Toronto for Bargnani and Calderon. Spurs are interested as well.

Oh, oh, I know, I know... We are ready to contend this season and Gasol+Fisher would give us the missing veteran pieces, right? Right?

Italian connection Kobe-Bargs
Spurs have nothing to offer if salaries are going to match

He'd be a nice replacement for Odom. It's going to take a little more than that though.

They don't have to match so much anymore.

I don't see why the Raptors would be interested in that deal.

Yes, please. Let's get rid of our two best players at a time when we actually are happy with 'em.

Fish would be a good mentor for Bayless and/or any other young point guard we bring in, but other than that, no thanks.

buy low, sell high. If i remember correctly Bargnani got off to a good start last season until the soreness of playing in the nba set in and Calderon in the past has went on many nash streaks where he raised his value only to be kept and get injured.

not sure about gasol though, i have no idea what he has left in the tank watching no more than 2 laker games a year max and i think he's owed alot

all i'm saying is Calderon and Bargnani will be back to there old selves. Not with balls to the chopping block certainty but odds are about as likely as barbosa opting to shoot over pass

This is a fake.
That was not part of Hollinger's chat. Someone was pretending to be Hollinger in the comments section below the chat (where this was originally posted).

How can you say this? Bargnani is a completely different player than previous years, and I am confident in saying this with only 6 games to back it up. He's not the same player at all.

Not sure about Calderon, but seeing as we are looking to upgrade that position, if we can deal him for a better PG then Yes by all means.

I kind of agree about these two coming down to earth as they have in the past. I'm hoping otherwise but i've seen this movie before, and i'm waiting to see a lot more. BC is probably far from sold on these two long term based on 6 games. If he had his doubts going into this season, it hasn't chnaged yet. We'll see what happens the next 60 games.

does anyone have stats on Bargnani to start last year? i swear he started the same way, fresh and scoring big. The team may not have started .500 nor did they play cleveland twice or have two 20ppg scorers but i remember a very similar start and reaction from the fans

this said i'm high just about every day, maybe Bargnani started last season averaging 12 and 2

Regardless if they "come back down to earth", this trade idea is laughable and would result in me boycotting the franchise for the rest of the season....

oh well luckily its fake

This would be a terrible deal for us

I'd rather have Jose than Fisher, and Bargnani has outplayed Pau this season as well

not sure why we would do this actually
