I remember Bogut got traded. He hasn't even played a game yet with GS.

I'd love to get a pick and an exception as DA mentioned, but it's going to be very difficult. Cleveland pretty much has the space but wouldn't be willing to go in that direction. Denver can offer their TPE from the Nene trade (if it hasn't expired), but that would put them into luxury tax.

I would be overjoyed if we could land him in a deal.

I'd still happily take Pau though (provided his knees aren't completely shot).

I don't know if there's any way that L.A. would give up Metta.... he's the ONE player there who brings it defensively every night. And he can play a few positions.

I think he'll flourish with Nash as well...just wishful thinking.

Metta aint going nowhere. They will tell us to keep Landry as well.

At most, they would take on Kleiza.

Something like a Jose, Bargs, and Kleiza for Pau.

You can still trade an injured player. You get the reports/MRI/physical back and make a decsion based on that. The sixers Gm admitted there were issues with his health as shown via the MRI, but felt the risk was worth it.

Bargs injury is not career threatened so really he could be traded while injured.
It would be crazy to think we have possibly seen him play his last game?

I highly doubt it though.

I think Bargnani will be able to play a few games before he gets moved. It's kind of nice he's out. Ed Davis gets more minutes. We can evaluate how he fits there and at the same time his value increases as a trade chip if we so decide to move him for a legit wing player some day.

i wouldn't be surprised to see Jose stay with us for the remainder of the season to only walk away in free agency for nothing.

It's like BC's allergic to picks. I'd be pissed if he passes on a first rounder last minute for the sake of winning 2 more reg season games.

So your starting point guard (so to speak), first guy off the bench, and one of your leading scorers, all three packaged for one player.. and that player is the brittle boned Gasol?

Talk about getting little value

Kleiza first guy off the bench?? Oh please!! The guys an inconsistent chucker. We should be happy if we can unload him in the deal. Calderon's leaving at seasons end. Bargnani playing some of his worst basketball. That's a deal that was talked about and something the lakers could be willing to do down the road. However, I'm leaning more towards being a facilitator in a three team trade and getting some nice assets from a third team.
