I agree with you. Just making a reference point. I know all too well about the side effects of bulking.

Yeah, but AB didn't need to get bigger! He needed to get stronger, but even more he needed to get feistier, which disregards fat intake.
He won't need to throw his weight round, cause he's guaranteed the weakest opposing player. So much is provided by BC.
On the other hand, BC doesn't care if Ed loses his mobility, cause BC wants to be able to throw him vs players AB would naturally play against, but can't be asked.

This is straight BS. Believe what you will. BC wouldn't have drafted a 6'9" tweener if he wanted a primary post defender.

Not then, but he realized it's easier to invert his spleen than to make AB defend players his size.
Ed was promised a PF spot last season, development year and all that, but when it came to it, Ed's natural position was the last priority.

Lool, I joined this forum over a year ago and you still post the same crap over and over..."BC makes sure Bargnani only plays against PF's he can defend etc.. etc.., Bargnani was injured and sat out those games because he didnt want to face a bigger opponent"

While all the ED hate? The dude has been playing solid if unspectacular in preseason in less than 20 minutes/game.

I thought you'd be impressed we spend so much time talking about a backup F on a bum team.

wow. first, dude's a pf. second, no one ever saw him as an option on offense. he was and is still viewed as a possible 10/10 starting PF. Which isn't impossible if given 30 mpg. third, contrary to popular belief, he didn't regress as much as people thought he did last season. He had slightly - minor improvements in: win shares/48 mins, assist %, defensive rating, defensive rebounding %, stl %, blk %. He had slight regression in other areas.

None of it matters though because apparently since he's not a scorer, he's s**t.

I hear you loud and clear.

I was kidding.,... but he's a minor player until he proves he's more. I don't mind him but I prefer Amir.

Amir can play C and is more experienced but ED still has some time on his side. Minor player that was one of the reasons this team wasn't bad rebounding wise.

Bargnani's rebounds didn't count towards team rebounds? It's a team game. Kleiza got rebounds too....
