![]() I personally don't care who starts at this point; however... if it is going to Jamario in the starting spot, I'd really like to see Joey get some solid minutes at the get-go. He's built up some momentum I'd like to see nurtured with some minutes, and God knows how hard it is for him to get into any sort of groove.

![]() I saw the actual comments being made, and in full context, he was referring to Joey being more aggressive on offense, which he definitely is, and Jamario being able to do some other things on defense that Joey generally doesn't.
And if Sam is an idiot Snooch - then what does that make Colangelo? |

![]() And the article in the Star was by Doug Smith, and it simply pointed out how players need to see the glass half-full, and allow the coaches to do their job in correcting their mistakes and working on improvements. There was nothing insinuated as to any possible difference of opinion or approach. The headline is a bit misleading, and something you would expect to see above a Feschuk piece though. It's always good to read closely.

If Sam does, and I hope he do, prove to me that he isnt a utter and totoal failure, I will be the first to admit I was wrong. But I am not feeling that is going to happen. |

![]() Yeah, after Sam took over we immediately become a playoff team ... NOT. With Sam we had a worse record in first two seasons than the seasons before, and let's face it, the previous 2 coaches were not hall-of-famers either. If you rate his performance as EXTREMELY WELL, I think the problem is with your standards ...
![]() You could say that Avery Johnson has faired EXTREMELY WELL in his first two seasons, which didn't stop him for being fired ... |

![]() It still doesn't change the fact that Sam Mitchell can't run a play to save his life and has showed little improvement in this area. He's a great motivator and is great at getting team cohesion, but that's probably the only attribute that I see that seems to really affect the team in a positive way.

![]() there was some improvement - our defense was better last season compared with the past. But the major test is ahead, this season we should easily be a top 10 defensive team. And we should get 45-50 wins, barring any major injuries. Pretty much all analysts, media people and fans agree on these points. It's up to Sam to pull it off.

![]() Mitchell proves once again that he is no great basketball mind.
It's annoying that a handfull of coaching see the world the way it is (like Popovich, Phil Jackson, and Larry Brown 10 years ago), and the rest basically see it through rose coloured glasses. |

Jamario moon is nowhere near agressive. He's a chucker who is either too chicken to go to the hoop,or thinks he's a three point threat.Either way he's wrong and is probably no brighter then Joey. |
